- From US$281.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 575 reviewsMy experience at the Grand Hotel Ma&Ma was simply outstanding. The hotel is elegant and peaceful, just a few steps from a stunning beach with crystal-clear water — one of the most beautiful on the island. What made my stay truly exceptional was the professionalism and kindness of the entire team, especially Cinzia and Fabrizio, who supported me with great care and helped resolve a situation with discretion and efficiency. Their presence made all the difference. The staff in general is of an exceptionally high standard — from the warm and meticulous housekeeping team to the highly professional restaurant staff. The gastronomy is refined and delicate, every meal a true pleasure. The SPA is a real haven of peace, and the excursions offered are well-organized and worth doing. I recommend using the private driver service provided by the hotel if you’re traveling alone, and I also had a wonderful experience renting a car through the hotel to explore La Maddalena and Caprera. Everything was perfectly clean, calm and beautifully managed. Truly a 5-star experience. Thank you!Guest review byChristel.DanielsSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 817 reviewsThe staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home from the get-go. And let's talk about those views—absolutely stunning! Waking up to the sight of sailboats dancing on the Mediterranean Sea was magical. The hotel itself was cozy and welcoming, with chic decor and comfy furnishings throughout. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was clear that this place was something special. Can't wait to go back!Guest review byMaria EugeniaSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 411 reviewsVery peaceful camping, just a few steps from a fantastic wide and sandy beach. The bungalow had all that we needed, there was a hot water in the bathroom and basic dishes to prepare the meals. The towels and sheets were additionally paid, but the fee was quite low.Guest review byJoannaPoland

A lovely relaxed city with a historic centre some lovely bars near the marina and beaches and similarly lovely restaurants. It may be crazy but we were both impressed by the fact that all traffic stopped for us at zebra crossings (of which there were loads) unlike in many places in Italy where they don’t seem to know what such road markings are for.Guest review byHoldsworth - 10.0

Olbia is the best place to stay if you want to see and travel the north-east coast of Sardegna. You will be in driving distance from Cala Golorite and from other amazing beaches that must be seen while on the islandGuest review byManuelRomania - 6.0

It's a beautiful place but it was very obvious that most of the locals were not super thrilled about the tourists and they took a lot of opportunities to overcharge and scam us, particularly at some restaurants. Please note that some people were very kind and welcoming but that wasn't common unfortunately. I wish I could say I loved San Teodoro but I had a much nicer time in Olbia.Guest review byLilianAustralia - 10.0

We have stayed in other very nice resorts and hotels with robust amenities throughout Sardinia and this was easily our favorite one. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. In addition to the hotel, we loved touring around Capo Testa and spent a lot of time in Santa Teresa which is a very charming town near the hotel. Next time we will spend more time at the beaches since an injury prevented us from navigating the rocky beach.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0
The best place in Sardinia.
The best place in Sardinia. Cute Italian town with picturesque houses, great restaurants and the best gelato. We loved going from beach to beach, they all possess different qualities, but they are all lovely with the bluest water I’ve seen. You definitely need a car or a Vespa to get the best experience. Taking a boat trip for a day is also a must! Would strongly recommend spending a few days in La Maddalena!Guest review byTameshaNorway - 8.0

We highly recommend Palau for its great connections to La Maddalena – just a 20–25 minute ferry ride, with departures every 30 minutes. Once on La Maddalena, we rented a rubber boat (gommoni) to explore the rest of the paradise-like islands, so the location turned out to be a perfect choice.Guest review byAlejandraSwitzerland - 4.0
Sardegna is overpriced for what it is.
Sardegna is overpriced for what it is. Sure you come for the picturesque beaches but you'll pay for it. To stay at the beach and get an umbrella and two beach chairs will cost you 50EUR. The food is extremely at the beach restaurant, just junk food really. not a proper Italian experience. We struggled to find good restaurants in the area, there was only one really nice one down at the port Ristorante Lina, but apart from that we couldn't wait to move on to our next adventure.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

cute medieval town, interesting museum inside the castle, serveral restaurants/cafes with amazing view over the ocean, several beaches nearby, lively towncentre, enchanting cliffs (the little mermaid was filmed here)Guest review byAdelmannAustria - 10.0
What an amzing place!
What an amzing place! We loved the city, the prommenades, the shopping, restaurants, and of course the beaches! We visited: Poltu Quato for a dinner at Tanit (definitely recommend), we visited beaches at: Spiaggia del Principe, Grande Pevero, and Rena Bianca, Rena Bianca was by far the best!Guest review byHusseinSwitzerland - 10.0

Beautiful city, much cheaper to eat and drink out than in the coastal towns. Plenty to explore, shopping, historical buildings and churches. Excellent array of restaurants and bars. Hypermarkets on the outskirts for anything that you might need.Guest review byDeniseUnited Kingdom
