The apartment we rented was spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of storage, air conditioning, and lots of hot water — honestly, it couldn’t have been better. We were absolutely charmed by the private terrace offering breathtaking views of Ponza’s legendary sunsets, as well as the shared terrace with its refreshing plunge pool and relaxing lounge chairs. Casavictoria is a very safe, secure, clean, and quiet spot in Ponza. There are a few nice pizzerias and restaurants nearby, two grocery stores, a bar with delicious coffee, and it’s close to the bus stop and the natural pools. Alfredo and his team are truly dedicated to creating a place where guests feel at home. We especially appreciated his attention and thoughtful recommendations for local tours and boat excursions. We had a wonderful week filled with sunsets and aperitivi, sunbathing on Casavictoria's terraces and enjoying the beauty of the nearby surroundings. We arrived at Villaggio Dei Pescatori and introduced to all the staff. The Hotel is in the most perfect location, 5 min walk to fabulous beaches. The hotel was so helpful, organised a scooter for us and organised the most incredible boat trip around the Islands, a day we will never forget. We ate at the Restaurant every night because the food was incredible and Manuel was there every night to show us "Catch of the Day". All the staff were excellent, every meal was excellent and every communication was excellent. We will be booking here again and hopefully soon. The nearest beach, La Caletta can be reached via walk (quite some stairs, for people who are not that mobile). The handling with very kind and welcoming owners / managers of the property was amazing and very smooth. The apartment had everything one would need and was perfectly clean. With the sea on three sides, you could hear the waves lapping as you lay in bed and the breakfast/dining area was a covered deck over the sea. Beyond gorgeous.

Hidden gem easy to reach from Rome. You could do a day trip but so much nicer to stay the night and enjoy the evening vibe once the day trippers have left and sip Campari spritz as the sun goes down. Small island with a lot of secret history. We visited the Roman cisterns and the botanical Garden as well as taking a boat trip out to neighboring island--uninhabited-- of Zannone. Attractive little shops in Porto the main town and very good restaurants, as this place caters to Italians--very few foreign visitors.
