The balcony was amazing with view of vineyards. The smell of flowers surround you, when you step out the balcony. Even shampoos and soaps are choosen in an elegant way in the room.At nights, the surrounding of the place is calm and no noice. Service: Uncomparable with other experiences. The owner/managers of the Villa were so nice, welcoming, helpful for everything. This makes the huge difference with other places I have tried before. We greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service.Heartfelt thanks to everyone who is in charge. Breakfast and lunch: You can eat at the place with their variety of wines Parking:Open parking in front of the hotel Swimming pool: We didn’t try due to the season. It is outside. Not for swimming but to chill with vineyard view.Guest review byMeltemSwitzerland

Alba has everything you need.
Alba has everything you need. Shops, restaurants and all amenities. There is free parking in the large carpark near the station. The older part of town is very pretty and full of wine and truffle shops. We did a wine tasting at the historic Pio Cesare which you need to organise in advance.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Went to Bra on a hockey trip during August which is when a lot of shops and restaurants are closed so struggled to find authentic cuisine. This is not a tourist town but one of the biggest in the area. You will need a car to see more of this lovely region.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Barolo is a famous and cute little italian village and the best vine on Earth (to me personally). :) We had a lovely walk around in this region with my husband on our latest visit and we loved its magical vineyard hills even more than the village itself. Because sadly the only downside (like with many similarly famous italian areas) is that it can become quiet busy and crowded with too many tourists and not so enjoyable if you prefer a more peaceful relaxing holiday like us. It is definitely worth to visit the village too, to grab an ice cream or an aperitivo but having long walks outside in its beautiful vineyard hills is a must have for a true and authentic Piemonte experience! :) It is very easy to get around in the vineyards of Barolo also by foot or by bike or scooters but would recommend to pay a visit not only in summer time but also during spring or autumn when its less crowded probably.Guest review byDenesItaly - 10.0
Monforte d'Alba was a dream.
Monforte d'Alba was a dream. The town was so sweet and full of incredible restaurants and such nice people. It's pretty steep so wear shoes with good soles if you plan to walk to the top of the town and see the clocktower - which is a must, the view is absolutely worth it! There's a wine shop that has all local Monforte d'Alba wines. I'm still dreaming of the macchiato and brioche con crema normale at the Grappolo d'Oro bar in the piazza. The church was beautiful too!! But really the scenery, fresh air, and countryside stole the show.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region (although they are all quite lovely). Surrounded by vineyards and excellent high quality local restaurants in the old centre. A couple of great pizza restaurants in the main village down the hill for when you want something a bit simpler. Many local wine villages to visit by car, although it is possible to walk via the “sentieri” paths if you can find a good map (not easy!). We walked to Barbaresco which was a lovely circular walk (about an hour and a half each way with lots of stops)Guest review byPaulaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Barbaresco is the Queen of Langhe (if the Barolo is the King). It is a must visit if you travel to Piedmont because it is embodiment of the rel values and qualities that the one would expect to find on such a travel. It is the place and the region where you can have a great wine, but also learn about many wonderful families and meet wonderful people that are producing the wines of Barbaresco. It is a place with history on each step of your way, an amazing small villages each one of it with the distinctive local history and a landscape with wonderful small castles and an endless view on the vineyars that is captivating. Plan your stay for a several days and if possible plan a day per village - it is the trully amazing experience that you will have in each one of it. Taste the wine that have been produced from the wine yard that you can see in front of you and learn about the people and places where it is produced. Highly recomended fro wine lovers, but also for a family visits.Guest review byOgnenNorth Macedonia - 10.0

We ate lunch at Easy Cosi in Barolo and then dinner at UVE. Both food and wine were exceptional. The service was great and were made to feel welcome. Found a local cafe (Le Dolcette di Montini Erika) in La Morra and was greeted warmly. It may have been Erika, who served me and I returned home with Cappucinos and fresh Brioche to the delight of my family. Would highly recommend a visit and stay!Guest review byGregAustralia - 10.0
