The hotel is very cozy and our room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and had a balcony with an amazing view. It is situated less than 5 minutes walk away from the lake but still in a very quiet area in the central part of the town. The staff was very accomodating and helpful from the moment we arrived till we left. There are a lot of breakfast options available for every dietary requirement. We will definitely return and recommend this place to everyone!

Great place so close to town. The rooms are styled very accordingly to match the theme of the house and it makes the place feel very welcoming and cozy. We had a great stay. Fantastic view and as a bonus free parking is included and everything is just a short walk away. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The small restaurant downstairs is fantastic and the paid breakfast in the morning is nice. Bled is a great place to visit, and in close proximity to other attractions - Old Bled House is a great place to base yourself for exploring this part of Slovenia!

Amazing large room, very clean, with three windows, modern bathroom and even a kettle for making tea or coffee. In the morning there was a delicious breakfast (vegetarian options were also available). The owners did their best to make their guests feel perfect there.

The gem, diamond of my whole travel along Slovenia! 10 of 10! Location, inner energy, restaurant - everything is perfect. As out of season I got a free of charge 2-person room instead of 1-person. The spa area was very clean and calm! The entry to the outside jaccuzi was a bit of a mystery and I was locked out for a few times but other than that it was wonderful. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and very good breakfast options. Room was clean and exactly like on the photos.

    We booked the most basic room type and it was much more spacious and equipped than expected, and very silent (no noise from the corridor or other rooms). We felt very comfortable. The staff at the reception was polite and helpful. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of options, including some local produce. We didn’t go to the Aquapark (too tired) but we would consider coming back and using it!

    Amazing scenery,very well planned tree-house,beautifully and thoughtfully furnished with wood. Amazing restaurant-children were happy about little streams inside,grass growing on the tables,helpful waiters,really tasty food,very good breakfest with plenty of options,good coffee!     Hotel Boka is a small family run place and the owner’s love for what he does oozes from every corner of it. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, there was lovely music playing throughout reception and the location is absolutely exceptional just on the banks of the river and a short walk from a spectacular waterfall.

    This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed! The cabin was so cozy and warm (in November when it was cool and raining outside). The tub on the deck overlooking the forest was amazing. There is also a sauna that you can book privately for an hour on the property. I'd love to come back!

    The location of this campsite is amazing! I could hear the river from my bed!! The river being the most beautiful river I have seen in my life! Staff were very helpful and the area felt so safe I didn’t even bother locking my doors at night. The cabin was beautiful too

    Lake Bled was wonderful, incredibly beautiful.

    Lake Bled was wonderful, incredibly beautiful. We swam in the lake, paddle boarded on the lake, and caught the boat out to the island. The walk around the lake was picturesque, and lots of lovely places to eat and buy souvenirs in the town. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    Kranjska Gora is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts such as trail runners like us. We visited to run the UTMB Julian Alps in September so the atmosphere was buzzing. Weather was amazing, we definitely got lucky as a storm rolled in the day we left. A few nice restaurants, pubs and cafes, all of which really good value.

    We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

    Our trip was in summer. As a town/area Tarvisio wasn't as quite as nice (in summer) as other places we stayed out in nearby Slovenia, but it was fine. I imagine the location would be perfect for ski-season.

    Kobarid is a very charming place, ideal for an active vacation. However, there aren’t many cycling routes separate from the main road, which can sometimes feel inconvenient or less safe. Compared to other nearby towns, Kobarid is quite small.

    Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

    We used the town as a base for visiting Lake Bled and the surrounding area. It made for a quieter less touristy base than Lake Bled itself. The old town was charming with several nice restaurants / cafes.

    A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey.

    A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey. Loads of swimming spots along the river, and a place to rent kayaks, sups etc at the dam. I recommend travveling along the river, up to Gabrje and further for more beautiful river locations. We stayed just outside of town, which I recommend if you have your own transport. I didn't do anything in the town itself as its great just to relax along the river on a sunny day, or go kayaking on the river.

    I'm a pubic transport guy, so i arrived with bus from Ljubljana – transport is good, there are buses frequently between the two towns. I went there mostly because of hiking, but there are all kinds of other sporting opportunity, especially water sports like SUP or rowing. I also spent some time with sightseeing: went to the island and also the Vintgard Gorge (do not miss it! Seriously, it's spectacular). Bled is a perfect destination for families, and also for hiking or doing other sports. I will definitely return.
