Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the people are friendly. Good standard of restaurants and not overpriced. There's a port where we hired a boat or you can get a boat trip. Some parts are very steep but worth walking up for the views. We stayed on the beach, a 25 min walk in along the beach but worth it or there's a bus for 2 euros p.p Would definitely recommend it :)Guest review byJonnyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Visiting San Giovanni Rotondo was a truly meaningful and peaceful experience. As the home of Padre Pio, it’s a special place for spiritual reflection and prayer. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the sanctuary is beautifully maintained. The town is small but full of heart, with kind locals, good food, and everything within walking distance. It’s perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat or pilgrimage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect spiritually or enjoy a slower pace in a beautiful, serene setting.Guest review byLouMalta - 2.0

Peschici was great but our mistake was booking a stay at Villa di Pasquale. They gave us a very uncomfortable unit with no hot water. They told us in writing they would refund us for the 2 nights we did not use, then refused to do so. I've stayed in dozens of places all over Italy and Villa di Pasquale was by far the worst.Guest review byLotane - 10.0
Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful!
Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful! The town has a few bars and restaurants enough for a week- 10 days though if you go down to the beach there are lots more there, but it’s a drive from the town it’s too far to walk. Loved the live music in the town on some nights, the restaurants get busy and some needed booking.Guest review bycarolyneUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The town is very nice, the closest beaches are not (both in Manfredonia and in Siponto are quite bad). We visited many beautiful beaches on north. Manfredonia is a nice town with a car, you can visit a lot of interesting places around.Guest review byPeterSlovakia - 10.0

Rodi is a charming village with nice beaches, beautiful little port, loads of great restaurants. Accessibility is not so great given it is 2 to 4 hours from the airports (Pescara 2hr and astronomical prices, Bari 2h30, Naples 3h30, Rome 4hr). Evening walks in the old village are wonderful, loads of life and great food.Guest review byAdrianaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Monte Sant'Angelo: the hidden jewel in Gargano.
Monte Sant'Angelo: the hidden jewel in Gargano. It takes time to let its special qualities sink in, but then, one is addicted to its serene ambience, its wonderful people, its superb light, sky, nature and culture. And FOOD!Guest review byMARIOItaly - 10.0

It's a very local place, something where no tour guide would direct you. We had a really good pizza on the beach during sunset. Technically it was the beach restaurant so during the day it's packed with families, kids, teenagers... but during the evening it was quite cool, super good food, lovely staff, and incredible view of the empty beach and sunset with Tremiti islands in sight. The 'city' also has plenty of street food places and small grocery shops and local fruit and vegetable vendors where you can buy great stuff like taralli, provolone or 'muscisc'. We also spent a day on a wild sandy and windy beach with not too many people in sight so I am definitely planning our next stay while we descend to the very end of Puglia.Guest review byBarbaraItaly - 2.0

The village is unfortunately in a state of total disrepair, it is badly maintained and very dirty. In the historical centre, many old houses are uninhabited and falling apart. Some attempts at improvement can be seen here and there, but much remains to be done. The kindness and helpfulness of the inhabitants compensate for the bad impression left by the places.Guest review byElenaGermany - 4.0

Foce Varano is an almost abandoned place - it seems like it used to be touristy but at least in June is empty. Going there we went through a road with more than 2 abandoned hotels and the central area is not welcoming.Guest review byAntoniaGreece
