Everything was just perfect! We were offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite and were amazed by the room. From our window, we could see small canals, and the building has preserved its original architecture, beautifully decorated to match. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. I had an amazing time here! The accommodation was absolutely exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. Everything was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had a luxurious feel. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff were extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant was another highlight — the traditional dishes were incredibly tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. A real culinary experience that added so much value to my trip. This was a true 5 star experience. They upgraded my room so we had a private sauna on the terrace. The food was incredible, a five course meal every night that rivaled the Michelin experiences I have had. The spa treatments were affordable and excellent. The spa facilities themselves were stunning, I've never been more relaxed. The staff was also incredible, very attentive. They have activities and a great cocktail bar where you can enjoy the view in the evenings. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent location, great breakfast at the bar dowstairs, extremely quiet during the night (Chioggia isn't exactly known for its nightlife). If you are looking for a spot to stay near to Venice (around 30mins by car), I would strongly suggest considering this hotel.

I used to live Milan 55 years ago, but staying in the historical Brera neighborhood during my recent trip was a real discovery. Excellent food left and right, sidewalk cafes, intimate pedestrian areas, the famous Pinoteca museum, lively street life, elegant shops... nothing is missing for the seasoned traveler who has yet to discover this other side of Milano.

I have been many times and love everything about it!

I have been many times and love everything about it! We went in October and it was less busy than other times of the year and there were places where it was very quiet. A perfect combination. My favourite area is Dorsoduro as there are students and many Venetians making it less touristy. You can still eat fairly reasonably in Venice if you are careful. I have been with young teenagers in the past and they loved the Doges Palace with the armour and also going over to the beach at the Lido.

Turin is a fantastic city, it steals your heart! People from Turin are kind and funny, and the vibe is great, with lots of young people to meet. The food is amazing, along with the wine. There are many areas to pick for your lunches, aperitifs and dinners out. To me, a week is not enough to explore everything, as there’s so much to see both in the city and its surroundings. The history and beauty of Turin will leave you speechless. Turin is easy to discover by public transport.

Verona is a beautiful city, but I feel that no matter what time we go there, there are still a lot of tourists. The city is crowded, there is a long wait for attractions, such an Italian classic :) What surprised me a little, the food was a little worse, for example, than in Florence. Maybe I just had a bad choice of restaurant. It's not so bad early in the morning, but the views are better in the early evening :).

The area of Mestre near the train station is safe and convenient, but not very pretty. Like many cities, it has a large immigrant population, so it doesn't feel very Italian, which you expect to when in Italy. HOWEVER, once you walk to the center of Mestre, about 15 minutes from the train station, or a couple stops by bus/tram, the town center of Mestre is really lovely with a great museum, big pretty square, nice shops and lots of great places to have a spritz and some ciccheti outside, so I definitely recommend people to take the time to see the town center. That said, we did enjoy all the non-Italian places to eat in Mestre, we had some great Indian food, which was a comforting break after eating Italian food for 3 weeks.

The walled Citta Alta was beautiful, so many things to see like churches, a castle, museums, galleries, squares, cafes, shops, restaurants. The food was out of this world. The lower city is less pretty but has plenty of things to see. There is Serie A football in the city.

Como was a perfect location to stay and take the ferry to other locations. Was considering staying in Bellagio, but after going there I am so happy our base was Como as with all of the cobblestone stairways in Bellagio it would have been mpre difficult. Perfect to visit for lunch and a full day of shopping including dinner maybe (lovely restaurants) but not necessarily for lodging for more than an overnight. Bellagio is beaitiful but difficult and time consuming to climb the steep stairways to reach all of the shops.

Padova has a bustling historic centre and nice parks. It's easy to grasp the city by walking. The frescoes from 14th century are outstanding - especially in the Scrovegni chapel and Sant'Antonio. Entrance fees are sometimes pretty high and you need to book in advance (for instance Scrovegni) or need to join group guiding, so you need to plan in advance.

Sirmione is a beautiful location.

Sirmione is a beautiful location. The Roman Villa and the Garda Tours 25 minute boat trip were excellent. The town is very well presented and there are many restaurants. English is widely spoken in the shops and restaurants, so communication is easy. We were there in late October, and the number of visitors was comfortable: a busy vibe but not heaving. I can imagine that it would be very busy in summer.
