Absolutely stunning location . Wonderful staff who bend backwards to give you want you want . One can never go wrong with a Taj .. Chef Raj and chef Sanil kumar were constantly meeting us to ensure we were comfortable. We even had a wonderful unique dining experience on our anniversary. Chef Sanil was personally involved in curating the menu. The Manager Restaurants , Mr Sajjith was exceptional. He was attending to us everyday and even making some cocktails with the limited inventory. Some people who made our trip memorable were - Sajjith , Raj & Sanil , Akshay and Ameer ( interns ).

the breakfast buffet is the best we've ever had. the number of fresh items they offer -- poori, parotta, appam, dosa, French toast, pancakes, etc. is just incredible. The hotel is brand new and so the facilities are top notch. when we come back to Trivandrum, we are definitely staying here.

Located amidst a tea plantation and wilderness, Dream Catcher Plantation Resort expands to an area of 24 acres. On reaching the resort, we were received with warmth and were offered welcome drinks. They also briefed about the compound and elaborated on the activities we could engage with. The resort offers super clean and fully furnished rooms, Cottages and tree houses, with attached bathroom. As we were two families, we opted for one Cottage and one tree house. We had a unique stay at our respective cottage and tree house, The resort also has 1. Awesome swimming pool 2. Restaurant offering mouthwatering native delicacies and continental dishes (must try) 3. Children’s park which our children found quite enjoyable and a superb watch tower. 4. The resort also offers a package where we can explore Kulukkumalai and other trekking areas and sightseeing places rather than the usual sightseeing places 5. Amazing campfire experience A Special thanks to Manager to Mr. Manoj for properly coordinating our two days package. Would like to come to Dream Catcher once again for a long stay.     The main purpose of my Visit was to have Darshan of Lord Ananth Padmanabha Swamy. Due to mismanagement of the authorities I am totally DISAPPOINTED. It has been converted in to a fortress for the fourtune found there which belongs to the nation. LANGUAGE BARRIERS is another impediment. Will never return back nor recommend it.

    Very nice coast, it’s possible to walk for kilometres along the coast. It’s quite turistic but mainly locals so it doesn’t bother too much. It’s possible to get into the sea only in very few places but I wouldn’t recommend it. The town has lots of markets, bakeries and restaurants. There are several yoga studios along the coast.

    Ours was a stopover on the way to Trivandrum. We left around 6.30 am and took the Alleppey Changanachery road. It was a wonderful experience of around 21 KMs straight highway with water on both the sides of the road.

    Nettor back water safari for 1hr is high 3400/- for 4. Need to negotiate further. Mattancherry palace is better with a guide. Katthakali show 600 pp is worth watching with their makeup n dressing. Folklore museum is 200rs pp worth with camera. Synagogue mattcherry misses a good joint. Marine drive is good to go for a 30mins drive for 600rs.& me

    Any side you turn, the views are stunning. You should visit during a perfect weather with some rain and fog. It doesn't cool very much during sunny days. Roads are very nice to drive a car. Restaurants are decent with good local food. You can find good tea shops in many places. Very nice non crowded place to chill out.

    I stayed at Namasthe Ayurveda and yoga retreat for one night through Booking.com, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the warm welcome to the beautifully maintained rooms, everything was perfect. The food was delicious and wholesome, the room service was excellent, and the therapies were simply amazing — deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. The rooms were spotless, with fresh and clean towels and bed sheets that made my stay very comfortable. The location is serene and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. The team is very caring and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels special.
