Many heritage sites to visit and pleasant to be surrounded by history. Glad that many monuments are well maintained. Rich in culture. Delight to shoppers, bargaining necessary. I checked online for sightseeing spots and visited at my own pace. Hired Cab, Autorickshaws, e-Autos, Share Autos. I felt it useful to hire Guides for the monuments since we'll get information and finish our visit in time. Entrance Tickets Rates and Guide Rates displayed in every spot. Some places in City Centre have Composite Tickets, which could be used in more than one spot. Photos taken with the hired traditional costume near Jal Mahal was good. Prints given immediately along with soft copy if required. The timings mentioned in the websites vary for sightseeing spots. Even some locals or Drivers are not aware of the correct timings. Plan as per direction, distance and time of the day. Uber and Ola services available. Many old temples with unique history are there. Photography of deities was allowed. Kanota itself is a busy town by the main highway. It is a fair drive (45 mins) from the major Jaipur sightseeing spots. There is a supermarket, liquor shop & many small shops a short walk from the hotel. We saw no other tourists during our stay & were quite an oddity for the locals! There may be local sights to visit but they were not advertised / sign posted & we never found them. Exceptional location and beautiful property. It was a short (4hr) drive from delhi and easy to reach. We got upgraded to a gorgeous room overlooking the main courtyard, where sunrise and sunsets were to die for! Very clean rooms with excellent hygiene and covid precautions in place. The staff were extremely warm, very kind and took great care of our every need. They would even be generous enough to reserve our favourite spot at the restaurant without asking. If someone is interested in watching the walls of the first go for it...or else better stay at home and look for some happening places around u. I did that mistake so don't go until u r not interested in watching the simply walls of the forts..for temples u can visit.Guest review byk
