What truly sets Red Fox apart is its staff. Unlike Lemon Tree, where the service is perfunctory at best, the team at Red Fox is warm, proactive, and genuinely attentive to guests’ needs. They go out of their way to provide help, early check-ins, or room upgrades whenever possible. There is a strong sense of teamwork, and feedback is actively solicited and acted upon collaboratively. On one occasion, after I casually remarked that the baked goods weren’t quite to my taste (although their food is generally very good), the restaurant manager personally brought a fresh basket of pastries and coffee to my room—an impressive gesture that is just one of the many examples of their commitment to guest satisfaction. We loved New Delhi, despite the notorious pollution. The historic buildings (mosque, Red Fort, temples, tombs) were fascinating and we didn't have time to visit the museums, which would have been a great addition to our stay. The markets were an experience, but best avoided on a Sunday afternoon as everyone is preparing for a festival: I have never experienced pressing crowds like it!
