This is the most beautiful resort I've ever experienced in my lifetime! The Staff were amazing! The food was incredible! The view was unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. I will be back!!! Super clean and comfortable room. Great value for the price. Staff is great. I arrived 4.30 in the morning and the person doing the night shift was ver helpful and me really well and with a big smile. Also the manager and people doing the day shift, everyone was super nice. I had some issues with my credit card and they were very patient and tried to help me in every way. Location is great.

I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. Dear fellow traveler, With the utmost sincerity I urge you to visit the Coorg Wilderness Resort and Spa because it is simply amazing, down to the smallest details. We arrived after dark and out of the jungle rose massive iron gates with side lights, and we were inspected by security - this felt very Crazy Rich Asians. We were met at the roundabout by Aswathi who facilitated the rest of our checkin. We received a blessing, were led to a couch, and received a cup of ginger tea before she went over the stay and amenities with us. We were shown to our suite, which was beautifully appointed in every way. Simply luxurious. You will not want for anything, there is something to occupy every visitor, even the pickiest among you - even our 15 year old daughter. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, a feast for the eyes and the palette. Daily there are many activities offered. Our favorites were morning bird watching, rooftop yoga, and a wilderness walk. The latter was led by Jagath who knows much about the local flora and fauna, and was infinitely patient with our many questions. We met other of Jagath”s colleagues, Harish, and jithesh, who operate the sustainable farm. We were offered the opportunity to select our own poultry for dinner…a rare option in our experience. The farm provides produce and meat to the kitchen and the results are unbeatable. So fellow traveler, this resort is most certainly worth your time for a visit.

Property is very unique and aesthetically maintained. One can see the interest in up keep of the place. Staff are very nice, We have known Krishnan from previous resort, he is very knowledgeable and guest focused. Right in the midst of greenery, beautiful birds and sound of flowing river - couldn't have asked for better way to unwind ! The movie time in the evening were good ! Good amount of indoor games, big enough swimming pool (with separate kids pool). Bird watching in morning was a great addition, very knowledgeable person too they have! Too bad the river was flowing strong and the trek was not allowed, we will definitely visit again next time ! Food is tasty.

Please don't expect much like Ooty or Kodaikanal. Coorg or Madikeri is a very small place with an average climate. Not much to see when compared to Kodaikanal or Ooty. It didn't meet my expectations.

I booked and I got confirmation from booking.com but when I reached there the owner said to be no room and he called someone and push me to take other room.I was travelling with my family.we are so disappointed.i travel lots of places around the world and this is my first experience.I feel very bad and the guy called me next day and harassed me because I didn’t took the room he was suggested.please be careful.

The staff at Siddapur is their asset. Starting from Neetu Mahajan, Murthy, Jackson, Anthony, Sudhanshu Sekhariena just to name a few, each and everyone is committed to provide excellent service and make your stay a memorable one. It's a cute little hilltop town. Kept very clean by the hardworking sanitary staff of the town administration and because of the civic sense of the people. A very good option to stay here rather than Madikeri as the latter ten to get crowded.

If you want a holiday in the country side with no urban distractions this is an ideal place for a quiet holiday in the midst of nature. Yet you are not far from the conveniences of urban life. Gonikoppa has all the conveniences of a large city while still being a small town/ rural area.

Perfect escape from human life.. Fabulous location and view from the bedroom. Have an open space to play badminton and mini games. As Owner of the stay is a botanical passionate, he will explain about many plant and wildlife varieties and also will take u to hidden places where no one has jumped in.. U can have a great knowledge if u speak for just 10mins with him. I had great stay to conclude....

The place is very centrally located and one can easily walk...

The place is very centrally located and one can easily walk upto grocery stores and restaurants. The free parking offered is on a public road! Closets were completely inadequate and contained many of the owners personal belongings. The place was completely airless when we arrived and we had to open up the windows several of which were stuck because of paint. The bedroom facing the road and other houses had flimsy curtains that don’t offer privacy. Still for the location,the place is affordable but better suited to students and backpackers than families. I found the rating of “exceptional” on Booking.com very misleading and it erodes my trust in such ratings and reviews.
