- From US$367 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 725 reviewsWe stayed at Amora Ubud in Bali for a week, and it was truly unforgettable. They made the first week of our honeymoon a dream come true, introducing us to the beauty of Balinese hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Always kind and attentive, they helped us with every little detail, and we truly felt pampered throughout our stay. The views from our room were breathtaking – overlooking the lush, wild nature of Bali, a constant reminder of the paradise we were in. The private pool was the perfect retreat, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty and serenity of the surrounding jungle. The staff’s attention to cleanliness was remarkable; they ensured our room was spotless, coming by two or even three times a day to tidy up and make everything perfect. Breakfasts were a highlight – rich, diverse, and delicious, providing the perfect start to a day full of exploring Bali. Evenings were just as magical. Dining at both of the resort’s restaurants was a delight, with every meal crafted to perfection. Little surprises from the staff, like a complimentary cocktail or dessert, added an extra touch of warmth and made the experience even more memorable. Although we had some minor issues with the internet in our room for 2-3 days, the staff worked tirelessly to fix it. Their hospitality shone through again when they offered us, as an apology, a complimentary hour of massage for both me and my wife. We hadn’t planned to try their spa, thinking we’d experience massages at the other resorts we’d visit, but it would’ve been such a shame if we hadn’t accepted this gift. The massage was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced – the soothing scent of lemongrass, the gentle breeze, and the calming sound of rain created a truly unique and relaxing atmosphere. If you come here, don’t leave without trying the Aroma Therapy Massage. A big thank you to the entire staff and a special mention to Nita & Meli.Guest review byPaul SorelRomania
- From US$1,107.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 639 reviewsA fabulous property, very well maintained, which is truly impressive given the size of it. Their "Ubud escape" motto could not be more accurate, as it is a beautiful gem in the middle of the jungle, far from the busy town. I booked a Premier Pool Villa, but got upgraded to the Royal Villa. It was an absolute surprise! It's an extra spacious property with every facility you could wish for (they even have a mini kitchen in the pool area with a beverage stocked fridge) and if we hadn't booked any activities in advance, I think I would have spent 3 whole days by it's pool, just enjoying the greenery, the sound of the river nearby, the privacy & comfort that it offers. I loved the entrance to the rooms, the wooden door with offerings is a nice touch as it really transmits that Balinese feeling. Also, in short: - food is really good, many options, large portions. We also joined their BBQ dinner one night, which was very nice. - they offer shuttle services to and from Ubud town - they provide a whatsapp number for communication & infos, which is very helpful - SPA service is amazing, worth booking a massage - staff is friendly and happy to help anytime. We arrived very late for our check-in and they were so considerate and prepared some sandwiches for us to enjoy. It meant the world! I may be forced to come back again :) P.S.: Thank you, Luis, our butler, for your positive & caring attitude and always making us feel comfortable during our stayGuest review byFlorentinaRomania
- From US$682.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 438 reviewsMagical hotel, with a wonderful view of the rice fields. It's worth every penny you pay. We stayed in the Jambu room, two floors with 2 bathrooms, one had an outdoor shower that it's dream. Everything super super clean. Room super cosy, with linen sheets, AC, super spacious. They provide a little box with mosquito repelent, ear plugs, a flahslight. In the closet you can find linen ropes and slippers an a firts aid kit. The breakfast is amazing. The swimming pools too, there are natural ones and one upstairs near the rooms with views of the rice fields. In the afternoon you can enjoy a sunset. The food is another level, you have two restaurants and the bar for snacks. We didn't move because of how well we ate. All organic and natural. Delicious. The staff is the heart of the hotel, making you feel at home, always attentive and concerned about yoy, giving you the best possible experience. Thank you very much for everything you are truly the best.Guest review byAndreaChile
- From US$429.07 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 665 reviewsBreakfast was made to order and exceeded my expectations for sure. You order the night before and it is delivered to your room to be enjoyed in your garden. You can opt for a floating breakfast but our mornings were a bit too chilly for that so we will do that next time! We loved having our own private pool and the outside bathroom was massive and designed perfectly to maintain privacy. Wifi connection was great. Room service food was also better than I expected it to be. The location is a bit out of town but there are free shuttles a few times a day and Nau Villa provides a taxi service that is very affordable and on par (or cheaper) than other offers around. If you imagine yourself wanting to be in the centre of Ubud every day then this place might not be for you. But if you want to balance your stay with some relaxation and then temple tours (that are not in the centre of ubud) then this place will work for you!Guest review byAndreaHong Kong

The team’s kindness stood out, organizing a sunrise walk through the rice fields and jungle with two exceptional guides. The heated pool was ideal for swimming, and the river and its temple added a peaceful charm. I also loved the private Balinese dance lesson—such a unique experience. Truly a magical stay!Guest review byGeorgineFrance

One example was when Sawah staff took me into Ubud on scooter when taxis wouldn't come due to traffic jam. . Proximity to Ubud was close despite being located out in countryside amongst rice fields, so very peaceful and quiet.Guest review byLRNew Zealand

Ubud was a much busier city than I had anticipated, and I was pleasantly surprised! We loved the busy city and all the culture it held. We could have spent days wandering around exploring new places. Some of the highlights for us were going on a huge day trip to the rice fields, touring the coffee plantation, the elephant zoo and the dancing at the palace. We also did a really great cooking class which was a lot of fun.Guest review byJessicaAustralia - 10.0

There are quite a few places to stay in the area. High end ones like Kommune and Desa Swan Villas are incredible but some of the more budget ones are almost as good. Make sure you eat at one of the beachside warungs. Great quality, freshly cooked food at amzing prices. You might get a bonus duck parade if you time it right!Guest review byDanielAustralia - 10.0

It's a lovely area much quieter than Ubud but still lots of cafes etc. The Instagrammers taking selfies is a bit over the top...but they're everywhere. Great views of the rice terraces and beautiful waterfalls and temples in the area.Guest review byTraceyAustralia - 4.0
The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver.
The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver. We went to the art market which was nice, but you could get this art anywhere in Bali for the same price. I hadn't been before and wouldn't stay here again, it's a bit 'commercial' and not tailored to tourists. The villas we stayed in were beautiful, quiet and off the main street, but there was nothing to do (other than get a driver).Guest review byHeatherAustralia - 6.0

Beautiful sea view, near to sanur, denpasar, and ubud, but beach has plastic and wooden trash. During rainy season, moths come out every where outside and inside villa. Kitchen is separate from the villa, overall, villa needs upgrade.Guest review byHalim HusinIndonesia - 10.0

There were so many activities there but many of them involved too many stairs to take part in - like the yoga. But they did have massage that came to your room which we took advantage of and because of the stairs, we did a LOT of room service. I recommend that Balinese dancing and dinner which was beautiful. We did get out but it wasn't every day, but since this was the relaxation part of our trip, we really didn't mind that much.Guest review byMerylAustralia - 10.0
