The spa facilities were just perfect. Everything was very peaceful and we could really switch off. The food was just delicious whether it was for breakfast or dinner. One of us also had a massage which really helped and the masseuse lady even showed me some exercises to help with my shoulder. Such a beautiful town!
Such a beautiful town! Words cannot describe, it’s a place you just have to visit to experience its beauty. The serenity, the landscape is beyond stunning. I got lost in looking at all the beautiful trees and listening to all the birds. The people are all so friendly. I loved every second I spent here. The food is another level. It’s hard to choose which bakery and cake shop to eat from as there are so many. All of which are fresh and tasty. There are so many restaurants and smaller food /take away shops to choose from also. The village was charming with cute shops and good restaurants. The castle nearby was very nice as well and had a more medieval feeling compared to other Hungarian castles. There are hiking trails including a "Hand of God" statue on a hiking trail.Guest review byJesseCanada - 10.0

Szécsény is a historic place. This was my third trip there. The hotel personnel went out of their ways to help us, including guiding us to the hotel by car.
