As we checked in we were offered complementary bubbles or mineral water. Free fruit available in the lobby. Good briefing on what we could see around town- Cool rooftop bar. The location is absolutely perfect. Situated in easy walking distance of both the upper and lower towns. Breakfast has a great selection of fresh fruit, cereals, juices, pastries, meats and cheeses, fresh honeycomb and hot sausages. Eggs are cooked on demand and there is even prosecco if you want it. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have stayed in - ever. And we have travelled a lot. The rooms on the second floor are exceptionally well appointed with gloriously high ceilings. The room was warm - you can control the temperature easily and the lights and plumbing in the bathroom are great. The water pressure is good and the shower is easy to work (you don't have to be a professional safe-cracker to reach the ideal temperature). The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and charming and the overall standard of this hotel was absolutely superb. I cannot think of a single thing that I would change. Complimentary prosecco on arrival and water and chocolates on our departure. The entire experience was a tour de force of professionalism in how to run a hotel and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. Thank you to everyone for a fabulous stay.

The hotel radiates quality all over the place. Receptionist was extremely polite and helpful, room was clean, light, comfy, with fridge (and with content), clean and modern bathroom with all the high quality amenities available. Kettle with coffee/tea and a small sweet to enjoy at arrival. Although the hotel looks pretty modest, a second building provides more rooms. Upon early arrival I could already stay in the room so I didn't need to store my luggage, waiting for the formal earliest check-in time. This was very convenient because I had a full afternoon to spend in the city. Breakfast was plenty, with a wide variety of continental and 'English' breakfast, sweets, savory and good quality coffee, fresh fruit. At check-out it was also allowed to store my luggage so I could still dwell in the city while waiting to depart for the airport later that day. The hotel uses a professional private taxi service for the airport, which was nearly as cheap as going by bus (and avoiding to walk 800m to the bus station first). It was a rainy day, and I was offered to borrow an umbrella, which I gracefully declined wanting to buy a fold-umbrella myself. A very pleasant experience, very recommended.

    Every member of the staff was very polite, professional, well prepared to answer questions. The room was very clean, tidy, and big considering it was a standard double room. The breakfast was amazing, lots of options to choose from. The roof of the hotel is accessible and you have such an amazing view of Zagreb, especially at night. Overall, everything one could expect from a 4 star-hotel.

    It's excellent value for money - convenient location if you are just passing by Zagreb, it's clean, the receptionist was very helpful and nice.     Friendly and upbeat vibe welcoming all ages. Lots of street cafes and restaurants... lovely place to chill and mooch around gently. We walked all over upper and lower town. Enjoyed the Museum of Broken Relationships - seriously, I did enjoy it, there are some very funny stories in there.

    Velika Gorica is a cosy town with a selection of good restaurants. I especially recommend the Mexican restaurant. It's not for young people who want to party, as everything seems to close at 9-10PM and in Sundays everthing is closed, even the bakeries.

    Host offered us tea/coffee/juice when we arrived. We felt at home. She left snacks and cheese plate in the fridge for us. Although we are there for a short night's stay prior to our flight in the early morning, we felt that we could have easily stayed there longer. Very nice room at the back of the house where host stays. Private parking is good. Nice quiet neighborhood.

    It was very helpful to have accommodation near the tram line. Easy trip to the main square in town where the visitors' information centre is located. They provided me with a map and advice and I believe that I saw the best of Zagreb old town and "horse shoe" on foot in the morning that I had there. Unfortunately the Cathedral was being renovated so it was closed.

    I chose Velika Gorica because it was close to the airport, but could have easily spent another day there visiting the shops and cafes. It would be a great place to stay for a few days of downtime. Unfortunately, I was only there for one night.

    the room is very nice but in the pictures they don't show all the humidity that is on the walls of the room that is hidden behind the curtains... it is a waste of money to pay to breathe humidity while you are in the room... the host was very disrespectful to me, because according to him I stole the hair dryer from the room simply because he didn't see it in the same place it was. Please make sure before calling a person a thief whether it is true or not. I am still waiting for an apology. Ridiculous

    The museums & art galleries . The ski lift at Sljeme is a must do ! It takes you up the mountain , from where the city of ZAGREB can be seen like a map . Go up the tower ( separate charge ) and the view is better again ! Tkalcica street & Skalinska street , are lined with bars , cafes , ice cream parlours , and restaurants , that cater for all tastes , from Croatian to Indian . No matter what your taste buds are , you will find something you will like . Transport in Zagreb is superb , and once you know what tram you need to take , you will be waiting no longer than 10 minutes for it

We asked her if we could leave our luggage with her and go out for a bite to eat she was able to help us out. The breakfast was very good with many choices She also booked our transportation to and from he airport. The room was lovely, comfortable, very clean and close to the airport.
