The hotel provides a level of service that always exceeds expectations. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with excellent soundproofing, all the essentials you might need, and an efficient air-conditioning system. Food deserves special thanks to the hotel team. The selection is outstanding, catering to every taste – everything is incredibly fresh, from fruits to desserts. The spacious dining halls with sea views make every meal a delight. Room service could offer a slightly wider menu, but delivery is impressively fast. As for the staff – every single person is professional, attentive, and ready to help in any situation. A special thanks to the management for creating such a high standard of hospitality. Parking. The hotel has a large public parking area nearby, but since the street is narrow, spots fill up quickly. I recommend using the hotel’s underground parking. It is tight, so if you don’t have much driving experience, it’s best to let the staff park the car for you (they kindly do this free of charge). Beach. The location is breathtaking – right on the seafront, with a private beach, crystal-clear water, and amazing marine life for snorkeling. In addition to the private beach, there’s also a pool and access to several public beaches nearby. Infrastructure. Opatija itself is a gem – a charming blend of Austrian, Italian, and Croatian architecture. The city center is beautiful, perfect for strolling and relaxing, with plenty of seaside restaurants. There are also shops, a market, and supermarkets (though parking in town can be a challenge). Prices are, of course, on the “touristy” side. In summary: we will definitely return to this wonderful hotel, the beautiful city of Opatija, and Croatia.Guest review byDenysPoland

We were there as a family of two adults and three kids, and the place could easily accomodate even more people. The location is right by the cozy fishermen‘s haven, a treat to look upon from the house‘s balcony or the terrase. Going to the beach is a ~5 min walk along the water (entry free of charge, and having the necessary facilities as well as a nice bar). The water in this „fjord“ is warmer and saltier than in the open sea - which actually makes swimming more pleasant. The hause has air condition (except one bedroom) and absolutely everything that a family needs during 1-2 vacation weeks. Lovely location with fantastic views , lots of faded elegance. It’s a place that was obviously frequented by rich tourists,but time has moved on and sadly now lots of the buildings are incredibly shabby. The restaurants are of a good standard,and the fish is excellent. An interesting old city with a lot to see and enjoy. Bars to suit everyone's taste Historic buildings such as the castle and the Theatre which has very cheap seats compared to the UK. For example a Puccini opera stall seats for the equivalent of £20 each. The market situated in beautiful old buildings with a good quality fresh food. If you are flying from Rijeka airport the bus to get there is very confusing. Despite what they say you cannot book online. Of the 3 bus stations in the city none of them sell tickets for the airport bus.....although they will direct you to each other. The airport bus leaves from Jelacicev Trg (square) and takes preferably cash : E15 each or will take card at a push. We found Senj to be a great place to stay. It was perfect for driving to other activities and sites like the Fortress, beaches and Plitvice Park. Although there is not much to Senj old town, it was very nice to explore and enjoy the plaza and restaurants. It was a great place to visit with plenty of activities to keep you active such as walks and diving (Squatina Diving Centre just round the corner), or there was the beach where you could just spend the week relaxing depending on your preferences. Malinska has a very long coast line with a multitude of beaches, from stony and secluded to small pebbles good for children. A picturesque center with a lot of eateries and bakeries, large grocery stores where you can buy excellent meats and fruits.
