- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 87 reviewsThis is difficult for me because I switched rooms. The first night I was staying in a seaside room but I couldn't see the sea so when I asked to be switched, the gal at front desk wouldn't believe me and kept insisting that I was in seaside room. Finally, she agreed to switch me to a tiny, tiny room but the VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE so even though the room was much smaller, I didn't care because the view was worth it! The smaller room did not have a tea kettle. The other staff was good, very pleasant.Guest review byLesleyUnited States

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,382 reviewsDo not be out off by the low(ish) rating of Hotel Odisej. We had quite low expectations but the hotel, staff, setting, facilities were all excellent. Yes, it’s a little tired in places, but for a dream-like location and view, this place is hard to beat. The wellness centre is an added bonus with treatments and a free sauna for guest. Wi-Fi works in communal areas, deal with it.Guest review byChrisNetherlands

We stayed for eight night and it was right.
We stayed for eight night and it was right. Planning each excursion and tour and other sight. We felt it just right. And really love the city. The Gastronomy is a beaut and the Karlivacko Radler was our favourite even the cakes and we ate at Buffet Fife. Wonderful place and the Marina is just great to watch. We just managed to find the way round with the help of Split map as a guide. We enjoyed all day sailing to the Solta island and stayed at Stomorska for lunch and swimming. Also to Mostar in Bosnia.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Loved our trip to Dubrovnik, it has a beautiful port and old town. We walked around the wall with amazing views out to sea and inland. Advised to go early in the day or later does get very busy and hot. We were staying in Gruz area, easy to catch bus to old town, plenty of places to eat out at and go for a walk along the port.Guest review byritaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Zadar has so much to offer!
Zadar has so much to offer! The airport is just a stone’s throw away, and buses run very frequently, making it super easy to get around. The old town is charming and full of great restaurants where you can enjoy local flavors. Don’t miss the unique Sea Organ and Sun Salutation – they’re truly one-of-a-kind experiences. And of course, the sunsets here are breathtaking! Everything is within walking distance, so exploring is a breeze. The beaches are lovely, though it’s a good idea to bring water shoes for the pebbles – once you’re in, the water is warm and inviting. No worries about big sea creatures either! For a day trip, you can join a tour to the stunning Plitvice Lakes, Kornati Islands, or Krka Waterfalls. Sailing or renting a boat to explore the nearby islands is also an unforgettable experience.Guest review byrenataCroatia - 8.0
Trogir was a great base for us.
Trogir was a great base for us. We loved the old town and there are many excellent beaches on Ciovo. We could access Spilt very easily by boat and bus. Restaurants were excellent but quite expensive. There was a lot of anti-tourist graffiti on benches and doors which made us feel a bit uncomfotable.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Makarska is the capital of Makarska Riviera and has all required infrastructure with well-equipped beaches, rest areas, shops, transport connections and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).Guest review byTimmerman - 10.0
Lovely atmosphere and very settled weather.
Lovely atmosphere and very settled weather. A variety of excursions and walks Swimming is nice but if you like sandy beaches then you need to wear waterproof shoes because the beach is stoney. Food is international but you can find Croatian dishes too.Guest review byGeoffUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Sibenik old town was worth the trip.
Sibenik old town was worth the trip. The old medieval buildings and narrow streets which look like polished from centuries walking over it. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants invite you to come in and have a rest.Guest review byKarinAustralia - 10.0
Just a lovely experience with enough to do.
Just a lovely experience with enough to do. Lovely walks and scenery and plenty of great bars and restaurants to choose from.Staff also very friendly. Availability for trips were also very good and very much on hand.Guest review byHELENUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Vodice is a very crowded place.
Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. On the beach in Vodice, there is also a nightclub that gets really loud, so it’s not the best option for a holiday with small children.Guest review byNatáliaSlovakia - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland
