We stayed for eight night and it was right.
We stayed for eight night and it was right. Planning each excursion and tour and other sight. We felt it just right. And really love the city. The Gastronomy is a beaut and the Karlivacko Radler was our favourite even the cakes and we ate at Buffet Fife. Wonderful place and the Marina is just great to watch. We just managed to find the way round with the help of Split map as a guide. We enjoyed all day sailing to the Solta island and stayed at Stomorska for lunch and swimming. Loved our trip to Dubrovnik, it has a beautiful port and old town. We walked around the wall with amazing views out to sea and inland. Advised to go early in the day or later does get very busy and hot. Vodice is a very crowded place.
Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants.
