Nos = BLISS! It was our first vacation in four years and we decided to splurge. NOS is so tranquil, so quietly gorgeous, and so relaxing that we made up for lost time. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable and kind (shout out to Maria and to the amazing, hard-working and generous wait staff) and the food is SOOOO good. Breakfast buffet every morning along with delicious home-cooked egg dishes, great coffee, and wonderful views no matter where you sit. At least one dinner at the restaurant is a must-do. We loved the ceviche, Greek salad, and the lemony chicken. And it is impossible to have a bad glass of wine there. From the resort we took many walks and hikes into the wild and beautiful countryside. Sifnos is best enjoyed with hiking boots and a good appetite. Beware, though. Greece has gotten expensive. Save up your euros, because it's worth it.

We had a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful time at Filadaki. The villa and the views were even better than the pictures. Our wonderful hostess not only picked us up from the port and brought us back when we left, but she provided food and wine to welcome us to the property. She was very responsive to all of our inquiries. This is a great place to stay, and several families could rent out the other properties as well. The house was kept in pristine condition, and everything was bright and lovely. Outdoor space was great!

Everything was outstanding! A beautiful home, surrounded by trees, clearly rennovated this year, with impeccable taste and quality materials, equipment and furniture. A lovely lady welcomed us and gave us the keys. WiFi is great. Roof overlooks all Platys Gialos with sunloungers. The porch has a 200-year-old olive tree and flowers all providing shade - quite the experience just having your breakfast there. The beach is a 5 min walk but for the lazy ones, beach also has a free parking area just at the end of the path leading to the house. House also has parking space, shaded under trees. Wish we had stayed more, only to enjoy the home!

Our stay at Blue Villa was truly wonderful! The house was immaculately clean, carefully maintained in every detail, and perfectly equipped. The location is excellent — peaceful, yet very close to everything you need to enjoy in the island. From the very first moment, we felt right at home.     The hotel was wonderful, and the view was breathtaking. The man at reception was incredibly kind and always smiling. The room was small, but perfect for the two of us – and the bathroom was spacious! While we didn’t have a chance to try the lunch or dinner options, the breakfast was excellent. The chef had fantastic energy, and the lady serving breakfast had a wonderfully gentle presence. One unexpected highlight was a sweet little cat that visited us on the balcony. So trusting and affectionate, it really stole our hearts. I’m not usually a “cat person,” but it sparked so much warmth in me that I even looked into adopting it! If possible, I hope someone cares for this lovely creature or perhaps moves it to a place where it can find regular food and safety. It truly deserves kindness.

Very well looked after and guided by the whole team! - Quiet and modern room - great breakfast: mix of hot and sweet food. But also healthy Greek yogurt and fruit , nuts etc . Good coffee. Individual attention - nice to have a fridge in the room to keep drinks cold and thoughtful and quality bathroom products - the spa was great and Anna who offered a great massage. - has a garage for cars - nice balcony for my room to watch the sunset on the beach

    The staff and especially Panos (the owner) were super friendly and helpful since our arrival and during our stay. The room had a beautiful veranda and was very clean! The hotel is located literally 10 minutes walking from Apollonia. Very good spot to visit the rest of the villages. Highly recommended!

    It has a lovely beach and great local places to eat and a few shops to browse. Good, cheap bus connection to other parts of the island. There are trails that I'd like to try but didn't. It's quiet at night and the views are beautiful. It's interesting to watch the boats come and go (although the black smoke and noise can be a bit disconcerting in such a beautiful location sometimes!).

    Everything the beaches, restaurants, staff. Our accommodation at lodge narlis was awesome as were staff. No breakfast provided but that didn’t matter lots of restaurants near by for breakfast. Bus service fantastic for Apollonia, Kastro etc lots of day trips and sights to see.

    Appolonia is a good base to explore the island.

    Appolonia is a good base to explore the island. You can take a bus to all the major beaches/towns from here. Appolonia itself is a sweet town with lovely, welcoming people. There are also a number of really nice shops along the main walking street and restaurants. Finally, if you plan to hike around the trails of Sifnos Appolonia is the perfect place to start from.

    Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

    Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.

    Artemon is just one small village on the island of Sifnos. It's very charming and has a local feel to it with some great restaurants but it's very small so you would ideally explore the rest of the island too - particularly if you have a car!

    Sifnos is a beautiful island which is very unspoilt and yet also has an air of sophistication. It has many different spots to visit and the food is absolutely delicious. There are some gorgeous beaches on the island. We would highly recommend visiting!

    Melianthos Villas are an oasis -- could not be nicer, cleaner, more welcoming, better appointed. I loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Great design, pristine rooms, great daily breakfast, amazing views, the nicest hotel manager Demetrius.

    Perfect and scenic location to explore Sifnos from. Kastro is a beautiful village and you can walk around it enjoying the breathtaking sea view. It also offers excellent restaurant and bar options for every taste!

    Excellent venue!

    Excellent venue! Did not plan to cook, but with fresh fruit and vegetables available on the property, could not resist! The refurbished windmill and farmhouse were stunning and the little pool just right. Special mention to George (the host), absolutely charming host: friendly, welcoming and always available. We chanced on him at his bar "The Lost Bay" in Platis Yialos (excellent little venue) and his generosity was boundless. A top experience... highly recommended! Best way to get a real feeling of Siphnos!

    On this island I could have done a couple of extra nights as...

    On this island I could have done a couple of extra nights as it took a while to settle in - possibly because it's a smaller place. Wouldn't have needed to extend by much but on the whole 3 nights was good.
