Sifnos turned out to be one of our favourite destination on this trip of Greece for our family of four. Sigma Residences proved nothing short of outstanding. The place is beautifully located with amazing views of Kastro at a distance and the Sea beyond. To make the most of your stay I would highly recommend renting a car at the port. Parking is available on site so you are covered in terms of travel on the trip. Sigma was nothing less than what a 5 star property would offer. On site Gym, a pool and a viewing Point too. The staff was superlative and left no stone unturned. A special Thanks to Eleni, Theodora and the entire staff who were attuned to every need that we had. They were Extremely professional and well informed. A special mention for the in house breakfast. Sigma residences is bookmarked on my list for future visits.

My best stay during my 5 wks in Greece. I could go on and on about all the amazing things Maria has done 😅 Everything was perfect and I travel far and wide. Maria provided her WhatsApp number for assistance after my booking was confirmed. Very important for ease of communication. She was very prompt with her response despite being in Athens and super assuring. I requested for a bucket to wash my clothes but she offered me to use the property’s washing machine in another plot which was perfect! Diana, the sweet Albanian housekeeper greeted me when I arrived and informed me of the faulty stove. She offered me an alternative room but Ai told her I would like to keep my original room as I wanted more privacy. Maria was very prompt to get someone to fix the stove as well as a leaking sink the next day. I eventually informed her on my checkout day the problem still perpetuated through my stay although I didn’t want stress her. As my ferry departure was after checkout time, she was gracious to allow me to stay beyond checkout. She also readily offered my accom help in Athens when I asked her for advice. And everything worked out very well for me ❤️ I’m a horticulturist and a designer, the aesthetic of the entire place is top notch. She has considered everything so well, it’s remarkable. The location was superb for me as I have a very good supermarket, a well-stocked fresh market, an award-winning seafood supplier and a superb bakery all around me. I could take a 10min stroll down to Apollonia along the charming path (walking back up needed more strength but it was still pleasant). Designated carpark space that is save and spacious.

We had a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful time at Filadaki. The villa and the views were even better than the pictures. Our wonderful hostess not only picked us up from the port and brought us back when we left, but she provided food and wine to welcome us to the property. She was very responsive to all of our inquiries. This is a great place to stay, and several families could rent out the other properties as well. The house was kept in pristine condition, and everything was bright and lovely. Outdoor space was great!

When we arrieved at the accomodation he was waiting for us with an amazing surprize,by giving to us an extra double deluxe room with a hudge kitchen,fits inside with everything you need,from spoon to oven, kettle,Sandwich maker and of course,the blessing coffee maker machine.shorthly,we felt like home. Many anf specially thanks to the cleaning lady,a special person who clean the room every day and change the sheets and towels every 2days.inside the accomodation you'll find a hudge and beautifull garden with limes , pommegranades and figs. Near accomodation there is a hudge parking area in the same property.

Everything was outstanding! A beautiful home, surrounded by trees, clearly rennovated this year, with impeccable taste and quality materials, equipment and furniture. A lovely lady welcomed us and gave us the keys. WiFi is great. Roof overlooks all Platys Gialos with sunloungers. The porch has a 200-year-old olive tree and flowers all providing shade - quite the experience just having your breakfast there. The beach is a 5 min walk but for the lazy ones, beach also has a free parking area just at the end of the path leading to the house. House also has parking space, shaded under trees. Wish we had stayed more, only to enjoy the home!

    Dimitris and his staff are the best and welcoming hosts you can wish for. This lovely family run hotel is situated on the end of the bay and overlooks the turquoise blue ocean. It has a tranquil and relaxing feel. Breakfast is great as well as there is a nice clear pool, an gym and enough sunbeds for all the guests in the pool area as well as on the beach. The location is perfect and within walking distance to shops and restaurant and busstop nearby. Dimitris spoiled us with a glorious bottle of wine and mezze; he also gave us a late check out and let us use his sunbeds after check out - he a very generous man!

    We liked everything, the location, the apartment, the yard, the kindness of the owner and especially of Despina who did everything possible to make us feel welcome. We stayed for 10 nights. Twice we received a large portion of traditional food prepared by the owner himself. I want to expressly mention that Despina is a special person. She manages the property and gets involved as if it were her own. Respect Despina. I will definitely recommend this resort to all my friends. And if we come back to the island of Sifnos, we will definitely stay here.

    Everything was flawless during our stay; the view from the property, the room, the breakfast and the staff. What a little oasis on earth! You wake up to the most beautiful sunlight and view over the ocean. Didn’t see that many mentions about the restaurant that serves both lunch and dinner to hotel guests. Very highly recommended staying in one night to enjoy it; food was out of this world! Amazing cuisine and delicious options on the menu.

    It is a shame the rating system only goes to 10. Thanos and Anthi deserve a 15/10 ! If you can manage to get a reservation to stay at the Niriedes Hotel, BOOK IT NOW.     Sifnos House is a comfortable and beautiful hotel. The bathroom, the shower, and the toiletries it the best you will ever find. The breakfast and the service around it were wonderful and top quality. We were warmly welcomed and got good information about things to do. We would love to stay again.

    It has a lovely beach and great local places to eat and a few shops to browse. Good, cheap bus connection to other parts of the island. There are trails that I'd like to try but didn't. It's quiet at night and the views are beautiful. It's interesting to watch the boats come and go (although the black smoke and noise can be a bit disconcerting in such a beautiful location sometimes!).

    Everything the beaches, restaurants, staff. Our accommodation at lodge narlis was awesome as were staff. No breakfast provided but that didn’t matter lots of restaurants near by for breakfast. Bus service fantastic for Apollonia, Kastro etc lots of day trips and sights to see.

    Appolonia is a good base to explore the island. You can take a bus to all the major beaches/towns from here. Appolonia itself is a sweet town with lovely, welcoming people. There are also a number of really nice shops along the main walking street and restaurants. Finally, if you plan to hike around the trails of Sifnos Appolonia is the perfect place to start from.

    Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

    Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.

    Sifnos is a beautiful island which is very unspoilt and yet also has an air of sophistication. It has many different spots to visit and the food is absolutely delicious. There are some gorgeous beaches on the island. We would highly recommend visiting!

    Melianthos Villas are an oasis -- could not be nicer, cleaner, more welcoming, better appointed. I loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Great design, pristine rooms, great daily breakfast, amazing views, the nicest hotel manager Demetrius.

    Artemon is just one small village on the island of Sifnos. It's very charming and has a local feel to it with some great restaurants but it's very small so you would ideally explore the rest of the island too - particularly if you have a car!

    Perfect and scenic location to explore Sifnos from. Kastro is a beautiful village and you can walk around it enjoying the breathtaking sea view. It also offers excellent restaurant and bar options for every taste!

    Excellent venue!

    Excellent venue! Did not plan to cook, but with fresh fruit and vegetables available on the property, could not resist! The refurbished windmill and farmhouse were stunning and the little pool just right. Special mention to George (the host), absolutely charming host: friendly, welcoming and always available. We chanced on him at his bar "The Lost Bay" in Platis Yialos (excellent little venue) and his generosity was boundless. A top experience... highly recommended! Best way to get a real feeling of Siphnos!

    On this island I could have done a couple of extra nights as...

    On this island I could have done a couple of extra nights as it took a while to settle in - possibly because it's a smaller place. Wouldn't have needed to extend by much but on the whole 3 nights was good.
