Fantastic hotel on the beach. Greatful and very helpful staff ( starting from desk, spa, room service to waiters etc). We have a room with directed access to pool and it’s the best choice. We afraid of location ( casa cook samos is bordering Airport) but planes starting/landing are 12-15 / day and from third day of our stayed, planes are impercetible . Great breakfast and well bar at the beach ( umrelkas, sunbeds and towels in price)

Awesome tranquil place just 10 minutes taxi ride from the airport! Everything is made with attention to details, beautiful rooms and public spaces. Charming private beach with crystal clear waters. When we arrived we were welcomed by the very nice Gabriella at the reception. we had dinner in the hotel three times and always were so satisfied with the food. Ask also for the things off the menu. Areti, the chef has great options every day. The breakfast was also wonderful, eggs made upon your order: poached, fried, scrambled omelette. I would advise the omelets with ham and cheese. We had the room: Luxury Suite with sea view and it has been amazing. we took a wine upstairs and watched the sun go down in the sea. So romantic. Also the pool area was super nice and cozy, try a Samos mojito from Vangelis and you will never drink something else ever again. Also the Samos wine is really great ( with ice and a slice of orange; again recommended by the great people. We loved the time with Erika and Dimitris. they made our stay even more special. be careful with the Zuma ( homemade schnaps) we already checked out when we come back soon. thanks for everything.

It is a very good business with very polite staff and it is very close to the beach and the center. I can say that it was the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen in my life. I would also like to thank them for offering us wine in our hotel room as it is our anniversary and for the kind congratulatory messages. It will definitely be a hotel we will stay at again.

Loved the antique style furniture . It's beautiful. Nice big bathroom. Nice complimentary products like razor with shaving foam came in very handy as husband forgot his shaver home 😊. Breakfast and coffee were very good. ( lot of choice) . Definitely will return.

The “Green Island”

Birthplace of the Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras, Samos is an impressively green island with beautiful beaches, lush pine forests and traditional villages.     Hotel was a short drive out of the town of Kokkari up a steep hill. There was a path to walk down to the restaurants in the evening, but we took a taxi back up! 5 Euros for people :) Lovely small town with pebbly beaches lined with many restaurants. Everything was very reasonably priced compared to other islands we have visited. Hotel Arion is just lovely - we wish we had stayed there as our second hotel as our next one was not quite as good. Excellent breakfast buffet - spoilt for choice. Lovely pool area in the garden which was well kept. We had adjoining rooms - 402 and 403. Along with 401 we think the best at the hotel, but the two above were probably great too.

    This was my second visit here. I needed a hotel for one night. Thespina was really nice and helpful. The hotel is basic but has everything you need. The power in the shower was wonderful. The location is perfect, just 2 minutes away from the Main Street. Nice breakfast on a lovely terraced area outside. Would definitely recommend and I will go back.

    This feels like a boutique slightly upmarket place. Very pretty and picturesque but crowded. People are friendly and helpful, though. The beaches are very small and totally full of umbrellas. Not very relaxing at all. But good links, busses, affordable taxis to main town and archaeological sites. Also a catamaran ferry service to other islands. Ikaria, for example, is doable as a day trip. Enjoy the buzz in Pythagora but find a relaxing beach elsewhere.

    I stayed in Samos-Vathy because it was close to where I'd take the ferry to take me back home to Türkiye. Excellent and affordably food, friendly folks. I managed to rent a car from Hertz (a VW IQ3) and drove around a little bit. Be careful driving out there -- the roads can get narrow, and the scenery is too beautiful, so go slowly to enjoy it all.

    Kokkari is a very pretty old town . There are plenty of places to eat , tavernas, cafés , bars and to relax in. It is not a party / night club resort. It is peaceful with no drunken behaviour. We do not go in August so I do not know if young people go then. It tends to be older people when we go. Although I think the beach is beautiful I do not think it or the sea is suitable for young children. The stony beach is quite hard to walk on so is not suitable for people who have walking difficulties. There are also enough small supermarkets to get provisions and bread / cake shops.

    Plenty of shops and bars in the new town. The old town was completely unspoilt and it was lovely to wander around the very steep streets taking in all the wonderful views but be warned take trainers as some of the streets were slippy in sandals The bars restaurants and cafes in the port area were really charming and you could while away an hour or two here Beaches not brilliant although loungers comfortable and free but associated with a cafe Potami beach only a 20 minute walk around the headland and that was a lovely beach again free loungers at the cafes

    What a lovely stay! Everything was truly perfect — from the cozy apartment to the peaceful area. Giannis made us feel right at home with her warmth and care. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

    Small and peaceful village for those seeking for peace and...

    Small and peaceful village for those seeking for peace and relaxation. All the restaurants are near, you don't need the car unless you want to explore other villages and towns. Nice pebble beach with shallow water. Heraion was within walking distance from Ireon and is a must-see, if you are interested in history. From Heraion it wasn't too long way by foot to Pythagorion, about one hour walk (but after exploring Heraion and Pythagorion we came back to Ireon by taxi, which cost 13 euros). In Pythagorion you can find souvenirs and shops and it also has beautiful, authentic alleys. From Pythagorion you can take boat trips to other towns or Turkey. In Ireon there are just a few mini markets, a pharmacy etc. so if you want to buy clothes or souvenirs (other than postcards or something like that) you have to go to Pythagorion or somewhere else. Best restaurants: Akrogiali, Venetia and Cafe and Bar Idyli (the beach bar).

    In the south of Samos and in a windless location, there are always clean sea and beaches, cafes,you can get up early in the morning and go to Pithagorion, which is 5 minutes awayby car, and get delicious breakfasts and fresh fruit juices from the Thessaloniki pastry shop next to the Corner bar, and I recommend you POROS SEA SIDE CLUB to taste the delicious Greek cuisine while swimming in the sea, 10 minutes on foot.

    Very small yet charming and quiet.

    Very small yet charming and quiet. Car is necessary if you're planning to see other parts of the island as there is no public transport (only 4-5 times a day) and it is difficult to find a taxi. But the sea is beautiful, there are very good taverns (Alios) on the beach and there are amazing hiking routes very close to the village.

    The city is very nice.

    The city is very nice. Affordable accommodation and rental car. We stayed 3 days. It is enough. If you have kids rent a car. Island is big. Best beach is for family is fsilli Amos. It is far away but worth it. Go to Yiannis Ozeris tavern in Vathy. Very friendly island. Prices are very reasonable.

    A vibrant harbour with tavernas along the waterfront. Option to walk or drive to ancient theatre and Tunnel of Eupalinos. Shopping is reasonably priced. Beaches are crystal clear. Enjoy the vibe! And don’t forget to check out The Secret Garden for a sneaky cocktail or two.
