1. Location is great: great view over the Petra bay, tactical location close to the sea and main towns: 2min drive or 10-15 min walk to Petra beach, 10min drive to Skala and 10-15min to Chora. 2. Staff is very kind and welcoming : Lea took care of all our requests very fast, showing true empathy. Despite being the hotel’s first opening season, they managed it pretty well 3. Rooms have sea view (mine did), they are modern and clean

    Everything was perfect: We only booked Stefano's Studios for 1 night due to a change in our plans, but if I had the option I would cancel the other accommodation we had booked for 4 days and stay at Stefanos'. Location: walking distance to Skala, but bear in mind that if it's too hot you may need a transport. The room: The nicest room we have stayed in during our holidays this year. Spacious, airy, SUPER CLEAN, with a fully equipped kitchenette, the view from the balcony was to die for (we could see the castle of Chora and the entire Skala port). We booked a studio for 2 but got a bonus bed (1 double and 1 single), which we highly appreciated as we could spread around and feel like home. Hospitality: Stefanos and Evdokia are the definition of Greek hospitality! We asked for a taxi to be arranged due to large luggage, but Stefanos picked us up from the Port and when we were leaving the next day, they held our luggage till our check in time with the other place and gave us a lift to that place so we don't have to worry about anything. Even when there was a mix up with the other accommodation Evdokia and Stefanos tried to help us and offered us a different accommodation so we had somewhere to sleep (whilst the mix up was resolved with the other place, we couldn't be more grateful to Stefanos and Evdokia who went out of their way and tried everything to keep us at ease). Other: not only did they sort out our great stay, but Stefanos also owns a rent car/scooter service and we also rented our scooter from him and got all the valuable information to enjoy our stay in Patmos. Next time we are here we will look no further and just book everything with Stefanos and Evdokia so we can enjoy peaceful holidays.

    This property was stunning. It was tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable with beautiful views and a wonderfully peaceful ambience. Thomas is the best host I have come across..thoughtful, helpful but never intrusive. My wife and I loved this place so much we did not want to leave and will definitely return. After a week here we feel energized and rejuvenated. Incredible restaurant just a minute away at the nearby beach. A truly ideal location. Anyone who wants to visit lovely Patmos must book an apartment at Patmos Villas.

    Staying at Porto Scoutari is one of the big reasons we loved Patmos. Elina and Kiki made our stay wonderful. Elina is a very gracious, helpful and caring host. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. The sunrise and sunset from our balcony were highlights.     Wow what a beautiful hotel. The staff who welcomed me on arrival were excellent and gave me a tour of the facilities. The room itself was so quiet and beautiful. There was so much space, the bed was comfy and the private pool was perfect to cool down in the heat. Breakfast was delicious and I will definitely return to this luxury hotel.

    Beautiful hotel, spotless clean, in a perfect location, a short walk from the ferry port. The receptionist was very friendly, kind & helpful as was the lady who cleans the rooms. Lovely courtyard to sit out in also. The room was perfect, a comfy bed, a spotless bathroom & shower and there was a fridge & a safety box in the room.

    Our location is extremely good. The hotel is very stylish and luxurious. Towels, sheets, everything was extremely clean. If I have to make a small criticism, the floor of the room, the terrace and the private pool and the room could have been cleaner. other than that everything is perfect

    Location was a 15 minute walk from the main town and it was superb! Just behind it there was a quaint beach that wasn't really swim-able but offered a gorgeous sunset. The host was super hospitable and communicative. Having dinner outside amongst the trees was magical.

    Skala has a lovely central area with restaurants and shops, and is pleasant to wander around. It is convenient so close to the ferry port. It was easy to hire a car and there were large public parking areas. You need one if you wish to visit beaches. Psili Ammos in the south is worth the half hour hike in for its fabulous sandy beach with a good taverna. But there were no beaches within walking distance of Skala. St John’s monastery is certainly worth the visit. We jumped on a ferry to Lipsi island for a great day trip.

    Patmos is a beautiful and busy place.

    Patmos is a beautiful and busy place. The town of Skala is great for shopping and walking. There are lovely beaches around the island, which can be reached by boat or car, but they are well worth the effort. A visit to the monastery and the town of Chora, with its many restaurants, shops, and great views, is also a must. Overall, it is a gorgeous island, but be prepared for some cold seawater.

    Skala is beautiful. Easy access to everywhere by bus. Nice cafes and restaurant. Prices are expensive to other islands I have been. There are nice boutiques. Around beaches which are close are wonderful.

    There is a good selection of nice tavernas in Skala Town; there is one fine hotel close to the sea and the Bay which (unfortunately) was fully booked while I was there - unlike my chosen hotel which had about a 3% occupancy!!

    Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible. We visited the beautiful village of Chora, the monastery of St John, the windmills, and the spiritual cave of the Apocolypse, where John wrote the book of Revelation in the Bible. All was achieved in one day by taxi from Skala. The entire trip was from the island of Kos by ferry, with a 2 night stay in Skala. Well worth it. Wonderful !! Two beautiful islands in one holiday !!

    Lovely island. Great central location if in Skala. Recommend e-bikes to get around on quiet roads on September. Chora lovely - Loza is one of the best restaurants we have ever experienced in Greece - amazing tastes, and views . Petra Beach is fantastic! Lovely beach vibe with lingers and cocktail bar.
