This is a very nice hotel located on a small hilltop facing Methoni and the surrounding area. The views from the room's terrace are fantastic, as well as from the breakfast and pool areas. The apartment was very spacious with all the needed amenities, as well as two bathrooms. The breakfast had enough variety, with some very tasty fresh pastries. The pool is large and has great views. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel and would stay again if we are in the area.

Amazing view towards the sea. Beautiful decoration and very soft / comfortable beds. The stuff was super friendly and welcoming. They tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.     The owners are keen to emphasise that this is a hotel, and it’s a point well made. It’s a hotel with extras. Hotel++, if you like. The extras are (at least in my room) the simple kitchen facilities - more than the kettle in the average uk hotel- as well as the delightful verandah, and also the lovely gardens dotted with chairs and loungers down to the beach. Equally, though, it means you don’t get an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen or a living room with sofa. I’m not complaining, just trying to adjust your expectations. I was very happy here, and would happily visit again. The owner was always courteous and helpful, and forgiving when I arrived very late. (Do watch out for the Petalidi turning off the main road. If you start going UP you’ve gone too far.) In a lifetime of travel there have been few places I’ve felt more tranquil than on my balcony at the Grekis hotel.

    This property is amazing. The view (!!!), the location (very close to several beautiful beaches and small villages), the apartment itself (very functional and with a small but equipped kitchen, with a small balcony next to the bed from which you can admire the sea as soon as you open your eyes.in the morning and with a lovely terrace with breathtaking views) and, last but not least, the host who was very kind and provided us with information about places to go and things to do and helped us when we had an issue with our car. We already look forward to coming back here!

    The staff are by far the best aspect of the hotel. Their hospitality, big smiles and kindness are unparalleled. We really felt welcomed, cared for and at ease. On top of that the property is exceptionally beautiful and in a great location, just above the beach. Our stay was perfect for a family as we had both the amenities of an apartment, while enjoying all the benefits of a hotel room. Cannot recommend it enough.

    Beautiful city center, great places to eat, drink and have fun! The cost at Navarinou str is very nice and close to the city center! There's a wonderful view and sunset at Verga, a beautiful bar called Kastraki, you should definitely visit! Many places to visit and have a daily trip like Pylos, Methoni, Foinikounta, Koroni, Kyparissia to name a few.

    One of the best cities we have visitted in Peloponnese, the main reason being the amazing scenic beaches that are located quite close. The main Pylos square beatiful and it takes you back in time with the tall trees and the vibrant atmosphere. You can rent a boat if you know how to drive one, take organised cruises from Pylos or Gialova and visit Methoni, Foinikounta, and other amazing little cities around. Go there, you will not regret it!

    Stoupa is stunning , plenty of restaurants, you can buy basics on the sea front and a large well stocked supermarket on the main road, everyone is super friendly. Taxis are available but hit and miss however the first resturant you come to with the steps will order a taxi for you , I just loved it and going back next year

    Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

    Nice town, beaches in close proximity, old Town 5' from the center with amazing view, ancient places around. Also, famous places in less than an hour drive (Voidokoilia Beach, Costa Navarino hotels, Foinikounta, Pylos, etc.). Farming products (one of the world's best olive oil), nice food and relaxing holidays.

    I was after a bit of down-time out after a long cycle with several friends, so the quiet little rural seaside town suited me. The harbour is being structurally rebuilt so I couldn't get a boat out to Proti island which was a disappointment. There are a few good beaches along the generally rugged coastline and some lovely restaurants in town. The agricultural nature of area means that it is not consistently pristine and there is a fair amount of farmers' litter evident. It would be ideal to have had a car for more exploring.

    A traditional small town, friendly community with small...

    A traditional small town, friendly community with small shops suitable for a relaxed break away. The Namaste Beach Bar was a real find and we spent most days there - the food was great and the staff were friendly. Several restaurants and coffee/bar places to chill out, eat, drink and relax. The best food we ate was along at the end of the town, a modern looking raised restaurant over looking the bay. The staff in the little supermarket in the main square were very helpful and friendly.
