The best location right on the edge of the port but still not noisy with an amazing view from the roof garden where the breakfast is!! Nice clean modern rooms. Another plus is the close proximity to hydronetta beach and spilia beach which are the 2 best locations for swimming in Hydra!!!

I would highly rate this island hotel for an amazing luxury break. The hotel's style is elegant & thoughtfully designed, creating a serene & luxurious atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure guests feel welcome & comfortable. The service is top-notch, with attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making your stay unforgettable. The food is delicious & fresh fish is the order of the day. The breakfast menu is extensive & the salads at lunchtime were divine (try the cauliflower salad it’s to die for!). The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling & just watching the world go by. The array of boats that moor up in Mandraki Bay means there is great people watching to be had!! There is cute taverna next door for a local lunch or dinner if you don’t fancy hopping on the hotel water taxi into the port. The complimentary water taxi runs all day to & from Hydra port which is such a stunning trip & never got old even after a week at this gorgeous hotel. Shout out to the owner Arthur for being so present & knowledgeable about Hydra, always ready to offer advice on restaurants, walks etc when asked in a charming & understated way. Thank you for sharing your special piece of Greek heaven!

Everything !!! Great accomodation on the island we absolutely loved it !!! The place, the views incredible. Location and view from the apartment windows of the port were outstanding , such a highlight. Myrto, the host was so sweet and helpful.

    Sidra Hotel has a perfect combination of size, layout of various open spaces as well as a warmth and friendly design. It is perfect located in the middle of the activ town- area and at the same time hidden and modest enough to enable a kind of hidden retreat character. It is the place to be, for those who are really interested in soul and dynamic of the so friendly local inhabitants of Hydra. Compared to other typical "show-off" places it gives one a chance to explore this unique Island with fair prices. But all said before would be nothing without the persons who run the place which becomes home during my stay. Kallia and Karim are not only professional, accurate, efficient, supporting, and great hosts. Both of them, each on his own way, have the rare ability to see each of their guests individually as a person and know exactly where and how to pick each of them up with empathie, patient and so helpfull support; all those spiced in a manner of humor, friendly attitude and natural handling. A prefomance which seems almost casual but contains so much effort and love, is a high-end perfection of hospitality. Kallia and Karim are the real Capital of this home to be at and make it to be far more than just a hotel. I've been around now for a while and I have visited many places and countries. I can hardly compare whereever I have experienced hospitality of hosts and the beauty of the place melting to such a unique experience like I had this late spring in Hydra.     The photos really reflect what the apartments are like. There were no negative surprises, just positive ones. For example, the room was cleaned and soap/shampoo/coffee/tea were restocked daily during our stay. This was very convenient and a nice gesture by the owner. The house is run by a family and they are very interested to help by providing information. They were present and could be contacted if anything was needed. They are very nice people, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

    Everything. It was so thoughtful, from the high quality toiletries to selection of capsule or drip coffee in your room. Super clean, comfortable bed, spacious. Good location, just a few steps from the port. I’m very happy with the choice. They also have rooftop with wine bar but I didn’t try that as there are lots of cute places nearby for drink and bite. And if you are doubting if you should go to Hydra, I would say it’s a pure gem, go for it at least for a day, it’s with it!!

    The situation is perfect ; away from the crowd but only 3 min walking to reach the center and to discover the wonderful island of Hydra which is definitely one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to 🤩 The house is so beautiful and the room is perfect : spacious, clean and modern with everything needed such as coffee machine / kettle / safe / mini fridge Very comfortable bed, great shower and huge terrace with a wonderful view

    I read the reviews, so I was expecting a good experience, but I must admit this place exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. We stayed for five nights, and the breakfast was amazing, with a great variety each day. Every morning offered something different, including the best spinach pies and walnut cakes. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended!

    A great guesthouse with spacious rooms and a very green and beautiful patio with a perfect location - walking distance of 5-10 min to all the best restaurants, bars, port and key places to visit on the jewel island Hydra is.     If you are thinking to book it or not I'm telling you that It's 100% worth it!! People were so nice, helpfull, the room was just amazing in white colour with blue details. Unfortunately I stayed only a night. It's soooo close to everything, beach, bars, restaurants. The entrance of the property is giving you the idea of living in a fairytale.

    The old decor fits the location so well. The garden is also beautiful. It was a joy to have breakfast there every morning (and befriend the cats).     The entry is a bit odd as it’s next to a pet shop but once upstairs you have a fantastic apartment that is close to Port and easy to get to with bags. I loved the views to the clock tower from balcony, views to the square and hills from living-room and hearing the town wake up each morning. Very neat and clean. Excellent experience and host extremely helpful and responsive.

    Hydra is fabulous. It's quite stylish. There is a wonderful array of bars, cafes and restaurants with delicious food, which was surprisingly good value. There are lots of boats to take you to the different beaches. Great shops from boutiques to supermarkets.

    We've been going to Hydra for over 15 years, and love the ease of the island, especially no vehicles. Though the beaches aren't your classic white sandy beaches the sea is beautiful and the people are really hospitable. Our summer is never complete without a visit.
