Maistrali Hotel a comfortable and cozy, family-run accomodation with great food and super nice owners. The chef makes delicous food from a small menu and regularly cooks fresh daily specials. Rooms are clean, Wifi is fast and reliable. The beach (with kitesurf school) is a short 5 min walk as seen on the map, and you can also rent a bike or scooter to explore other beaches. Would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to come back!

Mike and Iota were the most amazing hosts we ever had. They were by far the most hospitable, nice and accommodating people. Both were extraordinary in giving us suggestions on what to visit and they also provided a rental car for us when we asked, the procedure was fairly easy and stress free. Mike has become a very good friend of ours during the stay and we are already looking forward in coming back in the next couple months. We strongly suggest the newly made jacuzzi rooms which are phenomenal and at a great price, worth every penny. The rooms are tastefully done, a lot of style and personality. The Jacuzzis are so beautiful at night with the lighting, 100% recommend for couples to split a bottle of wine while enjoying the massage jets of the Jacuzzi, giving a spa like experience. The hotel is being renovated and is already amazing, but is getting even better as Mike works very hard on it everyday. The location is excellent, not too far from the city centre and Rodos Old Town by car/bus. The bays in proximity were by far the most beautiful on the entire island (Anthony Quinn bay and Ladiko bay). There is a bus station nearby and a minimarket which makes the location even more practical. Overall, Mike and Iota have a lot to be proud of, the hotel is amazing and we strongly recommend this place for anyone's stay in Rhodes, especially couples We wish Iota and Mike all the best with their rentals, every tourist at the same hotel shared the same opinion as us. And thank you to Mike and Iota for making our vacation so special and stress free, they are definitely one of the best hosts that could exist. - Marek and Najma :)))

    Lots of historical sites to visit in the old town. Lots of great shops to pick up a gift. Great place to pick up a day cruise to explore other islands or around the coastline. Suitable for all levels of walking. Although some areas are cobblestones.

    Kos was one of the most visitor friendly island.

    Kos was one of the most visitor friendly island. The large sidewalks and bike lanes were impressive. The post barriers along streets also great. the benches along Marina provided umbrellas for shade. That was a first! It is a well thought out plan for people. Walkable. Restaurants were diverse and delicious. The one thing missing was traditional live Greek music playing in restaurants or an outdoor venue.

    Very cozy, hospitable and comfortable city.

    Very cozy, hospitable and comfortable city. I felt like home. Delicious food in all restaurants and affordable prices. Lots of shops and grocery stores and souvenir shops. Everything is within walking distance. And if you need to go somewhere further - excellent and inexpensive public transport.

    The family loved the market atmosphere of the town during the day and the rooftop restaurants and cocktail bars in the evening. With the multiple layers of history of the acropolis. I enjoyed the food and sitting with a beer watching the harbour.

    Plenty to offer in the way of shops restaurants etc, good beaches can be reached by water taxi, particularly liked St Marina for its facilities and ease of getting in and out of the sea (12€ return by water taxi) Pedi was also nice, I went by bus 2.5€ each way. Although I enjoyed my stay I prefer a less busy island that hasn’t embraced tourism to the degree Symi has!

    Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We all enjoyed this special little bar, its food, cocktails, beer and view of the sunset.

    Lovely friendly place!

    Lovely friendly place! Loads of shops for tourist tat, places to eat (the Rock Island bar has a singer or band most nights) - Michael is the door host - the staff are pleasant and friendly. FBI for food - really, surprisingly lovely! Peris for food - service can be a little slow - but food nice. Spar - quite expensive for certain things, we used A&B supermarket as well. Pebbly beach - we only went to look and take sunset photos. A slow walk into Ialysos takes about an hour, go for food there and wander the shops, it's very quirky in places! Pavements can be a little "up & down" and rough in places. You can buy cat food for the cats, they're appreciative-don't touch them though! Municipal bins for rubbish - emptied daily. Bus to Rhodes is cheap and they run well - even on Sundays! Most shops close Sundays. People are very friendly and there isn't the expectation that you'll come in to their restaurant or bar (not like in Rhodes where we felt quite hassled at times) just by checking their menu outside. There is crazy golf about 40 minutes walk away - get the bus though as it means you won't have melted by the time you get there! There is a small bar there too which is very nice to sit in and have a small refreshment. There ARE crossings on the main road (no traffic lights or pelican crossings) but just step out slowly and most drivers will stop/slow to let you cross...it can be a bit like the old arcade game "Frogger" at busy times though!

    Kardamaina is a lovely small port with an interesting mix of accommodation. Think small beach areas and friendly tavernas. Lots to see and do, with excellent choices of quiet beaches, if you have a car. Or great boat trips to islands like Nisyros or Kalymnos.

    We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. The beach also had a rocky seabed and unclear water, which made swimming less enjoyable. Overall, a good experience with a few areas that could be improved.

    All staff amazing except the pool service bar. Not attentive enough, had to go for drinks myself to be told we will come to you then it took at least half an hour! One of the lunches that I ordered eventually turned up and was completely cold, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said it was the kitchens fault! Shame really, the rest of the place and the staff were really good. The on-site restaurants are amazing.
