Excellent place, we had Ambassador room for our first honeymoon’s night and it was great. Magnific view of the sea, cozy room and probably the best breakfast I ever had (served in the room). If you want to have a little privacy in the pool you have to choose Ambassador room so you have your private pool separate by a thin wall from next rooms, at least. Other rooms still have private access to the pool from the terrace, but actually it is a unique long pool running all over the terraces, separate by thin transparent glasses, so you see the neighbours when in the pool.

Everything was perfect at this hotel. Especially Rafaela and the team are so great. I can easily say that they are really helpful. Rafaela supported me at every step of my vacation plan, From rental arrangements to changed plans integrations. Easy five stars. If you guys have limited time at Crete like 4-5 days.     I am a returning guest :-) I like this hotel very much - one has the opportunity to do their own thing, the vibe is relaxed and easy-going. I was offered an upgrade to go 'all-inclusive' for €20 pp/night, which I declined, because there are so many eateries and bars in the vicinity! But otherwise it's a very good option and excellent value for money. I enjoy hiking and there are so many trails in the area! Kalyves Beach Hotel is an excellent base for that. There is also a sandy beach right outside the hotel, but sea temperature was too cold to enjoy it in April. Overall, totally recommend this hotel.

    Loved it! Hotel was a good size with two pools, two bars/restaurants and it’s right on the beach, as well as being very close to bars, restaurants and shops and a few mini golf/arcade type places. Staff were all lovely and our room was clean with a big balcony overlooking the hotel and the beach. We did all inclusive and the food was amazing with so much choice. Drinks choices were great too, especially liked being able to help yourself to wine, beer and soft drinks. We’ll definitely be staying here if we come back to Crete.

    We chose Anemos for our honeymoon and were not disappointed! It's absolute five star quality and worth every penny. We were so looked after. We did half board and massively enjoyed the breakfast and evening buffets. We also opted for two days full board which was great to experience too. Overall an amazing ten days, thank you!

    Loved roaming around old town with its many laneways, shops and restaurants. Close to the port . Beautiful view. Easy town to get around. We walked from Nea Chora and used local buses to get to many out of town locations. Eg. Stavros Elafanissi Falassarna. Favourite beach is Golden Beach (a short walk from Nea Chora). Water was crystal clear and it almost has golden sand. Sand at Nea Chora is brown. We did not find a bad restaurant in Chania. Food was excellent. Service is not always good and some waiters were very rude. Red Jane bakery and Bougatsa Iordanis must visit - excellent.

    Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

    I love Agia Marina.

    I love Agia Marina. It has the longest beach with sandy shore where one can walk along and/or swim in the beautiful sea. There are ton of restaurants for every palate and B&B or hotels. It is one of my most favorite places to go for vacation.

    All beaches were clean and tidy. Enjoyed by the locals, often staying past sundown. Lots of tavernas to enjoy. Short walk to 2 supermarkets if needed, well stocked. Bought cheap loungers from supermarket, which saved a huge amount on sunbeds, as we were there for three weeks!

    We went during school holidays so it was pretty busy but the tourist high street was quiet during the day while everyone was on the beach. The food was excellent. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The beach bars were also good. The Cretans were very friendly and helpful. Crete has plenty of interesting sites to visit both inland and on the coast. We would happily return.

    The relaxed atmosphere and the lovely apartment at Falassarna beach studio apartments. Excellent breakfast served in the courtyard overlooking the beach. The apartment was spotlessly clean with stunning views from the balcony. Plenty of tavernas nearby serving great food. A lovely beach within walking distance and Big beach a few mins drive away. We recommend having a car. Also walk up to Ancient Falassarna historical site. It is a 20 min walk and well worth it

    Nice town, good range of bars and restaurants for evenings, fairly decent nightlife. Plentiful supermarkets (if a little ‘touristy’ and expensive) but we recommend Anna’s Market just off the main square, which has amazing Spinach and Feta pie (you’ll need to be quick to get it, it sells out fast each day!) and Mythos taverna is popular, with a good range of Cretan dishes as well as the usual options. Beyond that, I would suggest that if you want Culture, a day trip to Chania is a good idea. The bus service from Georgioupoli to Chania costs approximately 5 euros each way per ticket and runs hourly. There are also specific services which go to Chania airport, lots cheaper than a taxi.

    Massive thing i wish i knew before is the bus system is the cheapest form of travel to and from the Chania airport and is fairly quick and regular, prices starting from 2.50 euros .Stalos was a perfect destination for all age groups , clean , all the bars and restaurants are family/locally owned and all the people are freindly and polite . The beach is clean and easily accessible .

    We have recently returned from an amazing week in Crete staying in Southern Paradise Villas. The villa is amazing. The bedrooms all have on suits and the beds are so comfortable. The villa is modern and fresh with everything you need and the outside pool area was amazing. Added bonus the weather was amazing. The local amenities and beach are very close too. Yes there were villas adjacent to our villa but everyone was quiet, respectful and discreet. And yes there are people living their lives around the location of the villa but that’s the charm This holiday delivered everything we were looking for in our time away. Sun sea, very lovely villa and pool and freedom to come and go as we please.The host Leo was lovely and takes great effort in maintaining his villas to a high standard. We will be returning.
