- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 354 reviewsBelvedere is centrally located in Brodick, with easy access to ferry, busses, walking trails, cafes and shops. The manager is delightfully friendly, warm, accommodating and on-site if anything should arise. He goes out of his way to make guests comfortable! Breakfasts are included, and are wonderful, with fruit from the garden and other locally sourced items. This was my second stay here, and I’ll return again!Guest review byJeanneUnited States

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 714 reviewsBeautiful views of the water and Goatfell and Brodick Castle (though the latter is covered in scaffolding currently). Walking distance to most Brodick activities/shopping and the ferry. The Coop grocery store is close and has a nice selection of food and drink. We enjoyed played fetch with a resident Collie.Guest review byLauraUnited States

Charming village on a beautiful bay, with views of the tallest peak on the island. Many interesting little shops, a terrific bakery, and a pub. But too few places are open to eat in the evenings. Easy to shop for groceries for self-catering.Guest review byEugeneUnited States - 8.0

Lamlash is an excellent centre for touring round Arran with its fantastic and varied scenery. Easy access to mountains, beaches and all the facilities one needs to make a great holiday. And only a relatively short drive from the ferry port of Brodick.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Whiting Bay was the perfect location for us for touring .
Whiting Bay was the perfect location for us for touring . We loved the peace and quiet and it was nice to just walk from our accommodation to Glenashdale Falls . The sea was so clear and safe for swimming .Guest review byDianeIreland - 8.0

We were doing the Arran coastal way and the first 3 nights we stayed here. Buses were easy to get (if times a little limited on a Sunday) so we made it back in time each afternoon. Deer roam the village (don't feed them - if they get too tame they need to be culled) and there are seals in the bay. The walks in the area are good.Guest review byJuliaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Very small place but there is a hotel and presumably a bar too. Wee roll shop which does great breakfast rolls and sandwiches. Fabulous bakers too. We were on Arran to swim so didn’t use much of the facilities in BWF other than the beach.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Wonderful hotel with a lovely ambiance and grounds.
Wonderful hotel with a lovely ambiance and grounds. There is a bus stop outside but otherwise it could be difficult to visit without a car. We hired a car in Edinburgh so we were able to cover a lot of ground around the island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Neighbouring bar had a pool table and dart board.Guest review byRohitUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful and peaceful.
Beautiful and peaceful. We traveled by car which made it easiest to go where we wanted but I hear the bus service is good. Arran has a whole variety of activities- hiking, history, distilleries, incredible food, access to abundant nature and wildlife, and a great pub scene. I bought most of my take home gifts here.Guest review byCampbellUnited States - 10.0

Brodick is a nice little place on the beautiful island of Arran and is well worth a visit for a day trip, a weekend or longer. Arran in general is a great place for a short or long trip to get away from things on the mainland for a bit. just watch out for the midges in the evening.Guest review byalexmiddUnited Kingdom - 10.0
