- From $111.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 346 reviewsThe location is just perfect. 2 minute drive to Morlich beach, 15 drive to Cairgorm mountain resort(ski resort) 2 minute drive to reindeer experience and 4 minutes drive to Aviemore village Driving into the site I was awed by the backdrop of snowy mountains. Our first night we met a family using the bbq area make sure to ask about this. You can light your own fire too. Im a keen photographer and captured some lovely night time photography even a glimpse of the northern lights via camera. So one very happy costumer here. We will most definitely be back. Thanks so so much Badaguish forest lodges.Guest review byJackieIreland

- From $159.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 1,560 reviewsVery warm welcome throughout our stay, right down to a personalised welcoming note in our room. The breakfast has various options and is well cooked and delicious. We ate in the hotel’s restaurant. It is an award winner with an Indian flavour. The menu is short and the food beats most. It’s quite simply delicious.Guest review byGraemeFrance

Aviemore has a great buzz about it – a proper gateway to the Cairngorms with a strong tourist vibe that makes it feel lively year-round. The high street is packed with outdoor shops, from big names like Ellis Brigham and Tiso to smaller independents, so whether you’re after hiking boots, ski gear or a new waterproof, you’re well catered for. There’s also a good mix of cafés, pubs and restaurants, which keeps the place welcoming after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of town where you instantly feel in “holiday mode,” with a steady flow of visitors giving it energy without losing its Highland charm.Guest review byAndyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Park was well run and clean. People very helpful. Beautiful location. Town was lovely. Pod was bright and clean, first time staying in one, good experience, shower was great! Had coffee and a muffin in an art shop on the main street, best muffin ever, husband and wife team, very pleasant and friendly.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful little town in a stunning location.
Beautiful little town in a stunning location. The town is decorated with the most amazing hanging baskets. Several pubs, all seemed to be busy and offered good value food. The town is ideally located for exploring the beautiful areaGuest review byJuliaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
It was a stopover for us.
It was a stopover for us. If I had known more about the region we would have orranged an extra night. We did do a tour of the Dalwhinnie Distillery on our way south which was great. Make a booking - we were lucky as we hadn't made a one but there was two extra spots. Loved the Duke of Gordon hotel. So very old school and so beautiful. Great value for money.Guest review byPWRGBAustralia - 8.0

I was not visiting Newtonmore, but climbing. Newtonmore is a nice village with some good hotel restaurants and bars and is in a lovely setting in the hills. its probably a good centre for a touring holiday, and there are quite a few good places easily reached from here.Guest review byDave_ShanksUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We stayed at the caravan on a self catering basis The caravan was very well equipped with all the necessary items needed for a short stay break The site was nice and quiet and situated within easy reach of the towns amenities and lovely rural walks Our break at Boat of Garten was only a few days long so we did not get much time to explore more of thd beautiful countrysideGuest review byChristie - 2.0
Very disappointing stay.
Very disappointing stay. Staff were rude and unhelpful - especially at breakfast. Dining staff Bella’s behaviour was shockingly unprofessional and not acceptable. Dirty, smelly rooms, one with a broken bed. Complaints were brushed off with a simple “sorry.” We booked 4 rooms for family visiting from Canada and deeply regret choosing this hotel. Definitely not worth the 4-star rating.Guest review byNiaz - 10.0

International dark sky park and local ski centre. Didn’t have enough time to visit other local attractions like the castle ruins, Jacobite battle sites etc. could spend weeks up here if you’re outdoor people!Guest review bymichael - 8.0

Nestled amongst the mountains with paths and tracks leading all over what’s not to like? Sadly, the general facilities here have gone. No shop for example. One place did have a sign out for coffee, but there could be an opportunity here for someone. Worth climbing up the Cateran Trail heading south to get stunning views looking down on the village. Also visit the stone circle, old bridge and the church. Just soak up the atmosphere!Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 8.0
