The accommodation was suitable for a disabled person but the room where breakfast is served was not. it was too cramped for a wheelchair bound person to move freely and access the buffet easily. The buffet was also short of most things that were offered. A warm and welcoming city, on the Mayenne river. We were only there for one night, so had little time to explore, but we had a wander en route to our restaurant that evening. Mayenne is a very beautiful town, very quiet with great scenery. Monday was very quiet, almost everything was closed, and we went in January, plenty of other things were closed too, unfortunately. There is quite a bit to do in Laval and it is quite a vibrant city, we feel that 5 days is about right as we stayed too long and do go and see the cheese museum as it’s fab.
