- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 114 reviewsThe whole stay (3 nights) was amazing! After 8 nights at another island with the kids, we left them with the in-laws and flew over to stay at Koro Sun, we were greeted by our super friendly transfer driver Tuks who was very informative about Savusavu. We arrived at Koro Sun to a welcome drink and intro of the resort thanks Savi (and Im so sorry can not remember the name of the lady who greeted us with the drink), then went on over to settle into our floating bure, it was super amazing, I loved hearing the fish jumping out of the water outside the window, there was a kayak tied to the deck ready to explore the lagoon, the room itself was super comfy! The food was amazing (sorry I cant remember everyones names but Nai you were so kind in the restaurant) I hadnt done much research into our stay, was just happy to eat, relax and book into activities as they became available, so was nicely surprised to have a continental breakfast included each morning! We explored the resort the first morning and went on a guided snorkel out in the lagoon in the afternoon with Andrew, which was perfect for my experience! Went to the Kava ceremony hosted by Rinu (sorry if Im spelling your name wrong) and Manu, the Fijian dance/show and dinner that evening, again all amazing and worth the time! We booked into a couples massage the next morning, wow, listening to the waterfall with a relaxing massage is something else 😍We were told the barrier reef snorkel trip was a must, so we did that next, and it was more than amazing thanks Gina, Caleb and Amos! The waterfall trip was also worth the time, thanks Sam & Dan, we swam through the waterfall to climb the rocks behind and then jump back through the waterfall, so cool! Ended the day with a sunset cruise, again amazing! Thanks to the whole team at Koro Sun, from check in to room service, dining, the rainforest spa, activities and dive shop, you made our Fiji holiday the best time 🥰 Can’t wait to come back!!!Guest review byNicolaNew Zealand
- From US$97.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsUnplanned stopped into Savusavu and was luckily enough to find this. Situated on a hill (400m), where a 4WD is required this place is breathtaking. If you need a place to stay, unwind and just want to recharge your batteries where no one can disturb you, I would highly recommend this. Just bring your food/wine and enjoy the peace and serenity of Korovesi Sunshine Villas.Guest review byGeorginaAustralia

The staff were kind, down to earth and wonderful. Osea was a wonderful chef! I liked that they only have two rooms, it gives the whole ambience an intimate feel.Guest review byPaulUnited States

Savusavu is a great location for a peaceful holiday, giving to a more traditional Fijian experience with less resorts on the island. The market is a great for self catering or just absorbing the atmosphere, especially early on Sat when the fish market is there too. The people are very friendly and fun to be around, as you walk down the street you are constantly greeted warmly with Bula! Nateway Bay is mostly untouched and an amazing place to see.Guest review bySheerwood - 10.0

Definitely make the effort to venture across to Savusavu—it’s far more picturesque than Fiji’s main island. Getting around is a breeze: you can hop on local buses, grab a taxi, or simply wave down a friendly local for a ride (just agree on the fare beforehand). The people are incredibly welcoming and helpful—they’ll happily arrange any activity you fancy, and you’ll feel the rich Fijian culture everywhere. We even attended a Sunday singing service in the local church—it was breathtaking to hear the harmonies and feel the community spirit firsthand. One outstanding place to dine is La Dolce Vita Resort, where Chef Michele crafts everything from scratch—each dish melts in your mouth with fresh, local flavors.Guest review bySophieAustralia - 4.0

Scruffy little town (and scruffy island) with not a lot for tourists. I have much preferred staying in the Mamanuca Island chain - cuter islands, more of a holiday feel and better snorkelling than what we experienced here. The best thing was watching steam rising off the beach in town at sunset, glowing golden in the late afternoon sunGuest review byMelNew Zealand
