The place seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but once you are there you find all the necessary infrastructure and more. The hotel is surrounded by few other hotels, some giftshops, restaurants and there is a small supermarket (K-market) 1 minute away from the hotel entrance. Owner was very flexible when i enquired on arriving early and about staying longer. The sauna was out-of-this-world gorgeous. It had a private cooling-off pool adjacent, chairs for resting, shower for shampooing and a soothing view. The room was airy, clean and fresh. There were other guests staying, and with so much room, we still felt like we had the place to ourselves. The owners arranged for an early breakfast when we needed it, so fresh coffee, and fresh fruit/berries/meat awaited us in the morning. Paivi even supplied fresh baked chicken for our little dog. We have stayed at many BB style accommodations in Finland, this one was elegant and thoughtfully designed.

Highly recommended! We are from Lapland and seen many amazing places here but this is one of the most unique, felt like we own the top of the fell. Views are amazing - service was amazing, host listened all our wishes and made our stay perfect. Just be prepared, no shower on site and toilet is different but this was not a problem for us, so no need to hesitate about booking this. The fireplace next to dream pyhä is also a must!
