- From US$85.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 1,412 reviewsThe food was lovely and very good value. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I met Marisol the manager and Maria Jesus who was in the restaurant and they were wonderful. Also all of the people behind reception were exceptional and spoke well/clearly to me as I told them I was learning to speak Spanish (sorry, I do not know their names). Everyone was so friendly to my daughter too and made us feel really welcome. The property is right on the beach and there is a courtyard with restaurants/bars, the swimming pool and children's activities, all away from the road. Parking is great. I know that the decor is a bit dated but I actually found it very charming and prefer this place to 4 star hotels I have stayed in in the past. I will definitely return.Guest review byZoeUnited Kingdom
- From US$94.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 4,846 reviewsWe had amazing time at Cavanna Hotel! Location is perfect, hotel is literally on the beach. The view from 14th floor was breathtaking. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Room was big, nice and clean. There is a gaming room, evening dancing, clean and big enough pool, bar, souvenir shops in the hotel; you can stay entertained not leaving the hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the price was such a bargain! Food was delicious! Big variety, we had a chance to try traditional Spanish meals and desserts. Staff doing their best to take care of guests, although it was busy especially during lunch or dinner, it was still clean and food was brought in all the time. Definitely value for money! Will go there again, for sure!Guest review byDominikaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 278 reviewsGreat food, friendly personnel, everything worked. Not the most modern cabins or the comfiest beds, but included all that we needed and more. The host took really good care of us, even though there was a mixup in the meal package we ordered. They even prepared nice takeaway breakfast bags for us for 2 mornings when we had to hit the road before breakfast time.Guest review byMarkkuFinland

The apartment was clean and spacious in a quiet area with a lovely open view of the valley below from the balcony. The pool was only a 2 minute walk away, perfect for our needs as a family with an 8 year old and beds in the shade were always available. You definitely need a car. Beaches are only a short 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Our favourite restaurant was La Barra Tapas Bar in nearby Atamaria, high quality and very reasonable.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I think its a lovely experience with plenty of history to see at very little cost. The city is very clean and has a good relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of small bars and good restaurants to enjoy and the service everywhere we went was good. There is no problem if you dont speak Spanish. There is a large shopping mall close by if you want more choice.Guest review byLyndaSpain - 10.0
A beautiful location.
A beautiful location. This is such a nice place because it is authentically Spanish which is the reason I visit Spain. Lovely tapas and a great variety of Soanisg restaurants. The beach is beautiful and we had some lovely runs along the beachfront. Very peacefulGuest review bySamanthaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We enjoyed quite a few restaurants at Mar Menor and Los Alcazares. There is a huge variety on most menu's, we found portions quite large It's easy to explore Los Alcazares and would highly recommend Murcia Trike tour, a visit to Old Town, Zarcos Cocktail Bar, Sunrise and sunsets on the beach. You can hire daybeds on the beach for the day with umbrellas Lot's of bars and restaurants along the foreshore to choose from.Guest review byMareeAustralia - 10.0
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing.
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing. So much so that the wife and I are considering investing. Mainly because it is the most inclusive resort I have ever imagined. There are lifeguards with wheelchairs, ramps, crutches, and enthusiasm; to help every one into the sea. Drop kerbs all over. And an openness and acceptance that would make this the ideal place for SEN kids, or adults with disabilities There are plenty of affordable street cafes for tapas and a fry-up, or a curry. There are a good number of good restaurants. And a fair few excellent ones.Guest review byKevinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An excellent holiday location with fast food, Spanish authentic tapas bars.and more expensive restaurants to suit all needs. There are several good quality beaches on both sides of the fishing harbour and all amenities within a small area.Guest review byAlexander ThomsonSpain - 10.0
I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem.
I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem. My room outstanding , food outstanding . I may have liked a shuttle bus maybe going down to the Centre twice a day. I am 76yrs old and I did walk down and back up and to be honest I didn’t think I could do it But I did and was very proud of myself! Lovely to see the very old villages and the beautiful churches.Guest review byMaureenUnited Kingdom - 4.0

The hotel I had booked into was closed but I wasn’t told until I got there. I had booked a room with balcony and bath. No balcony at new hotel and bath plug didn’t fit so I couldn’t have a bath. Couldn’t regulate the air conditioning so had to open window to allow cool air in. Food mediocre, eg smoked salmon covered in oil which overpowered taste. I booked two massages which were fantastic!Guest review byRuthSpain - 10.0

Since it was low-season, we could benefit of the overall tranquility, no crowds etc. Still, the town is inhabited, also by year-round foreigners, thus there are quite a few restaurants open to choose from.Guest review byRainoFinland
