Barcelona is AMAZING, so much to do, loads of culture, places to go, fabulous food and drink , wonderful street entertainment, great beaches with warm sea. Easy transport links to other places such as Figueres and Montserrat. People are friendly and although (like most cities) there were warnings about pickpockets, we had no incidents, felt safe everywhere day or night (we were a small group of women). We were lucky to see the first day of a fiesta which was great fun.Guest review byJennyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I've been to Sitges 3 times with my female friends. We are all Mums and like Sitges as it's somewhere smallish to unwind on the beach, eat nice food and have a few drinks and a little bit of shopping.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 8.0

During my stay in Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, I enjoyed being just a few subway rides away from the lively city center while still escaping the constant crowds. With several subway stations nearby, it was easy to get around—within just 10 minutes I could reach iconic spots like the Sagrada Família or even head out toward San Sebastián Beach. The quieter atmosphere of the neighborhood provided a more relaxed experience, allowing me to enjoy the scenery at a slower pace. Local cuisine was another highlight—tapas, fresh seafood, and other authentic dishes made every meal memorable. The area was also conveniently close to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, making both arrival and departure stress-free and well connected.Guest review byAli CanTurkey - 10.0

Panoramic views from ancient town walls and steep hilltop...
Panoramic views from ancient town walls and steep hilltop locations that overlook the mountains in the distance. Beautiful cobblestoned streets and secret staircases help you wind your way to all of the sights including the Arab Baths, the dramatic Girona Cathedral and Sent Felieu. Plenty of lively cafes to take a coffee or enjoy an aperitif, and generous and welcoming locals. Across the river from old town and larger avenues and shops and local life. Walk up to Sant Daniel to see the views and just enjoy a vigorous workout climbing between sights and then descending again. Lovely town, full of life, cyclers, and university students. Great vibe. September visit, so less crowds than summer.Guest review bycml50United States - 10.0
