The hotel was in a good location and had all the facilities expected of a modern hotel. However the staff were exceptional. You were always greeted with a smile and every interaction was concluded positively. This year we have travelled through North America and Europe and the staff at this hotel were the best we experienced.

Location was superb on main road with metro and buses available nearby. I liked most, the hastle free digital system in the hotel right from check in to check out so smoothly using scanning through wrist band provided by the City Hub. It was a wonderful and unique experience never seen before. Staff were helpful all the time available for guidance at the lobby and on the Whatsapp 24 hours. I liked the layout of Hub- compact with comfortable bed- taking care of every thing you I needed in my room like charger, light control, hangers, gown - everything! Designed so thoughtfully and tastefully by an architect! Also, liked the happy hour in the evening where coffee and water were available free of charge. Layout of common area was so wonderfully done creating an interactive and beautiful environment where guests, mostly younsters talk with each other using internet at the same time and having coffee/ drinks/food with a kitchenette available on self service basis. Bathrooms were very clean with separate stalls of WC and shower in good numbers and washbasins in the middle. So much so, hair dryers and ironing facility were also there. Never had to wait to use bathrooms. Lockers after check out was another wonderful facility, if your travelling is later in the evening. I used the common area so comfortably for good 3 hours as my departure was later in the evening and I was allowed to take free coffee, using their clean washroom and lockers in the common area. Staff was so friendly and helpful. In short, a wonderful hotel providing every thing you need during your stay- so economically.

The location of this hotel is just perfect. It is situated outside the city center in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the metro, so you can reach the city center within a few minutes. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. I couldn't recommend the hotel more.

Annette and Erik are very kind and friendly and along with the nice staff create a very warm atmosphere. The location is amazing, in between sea and forest. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed superb sleep while listening to the birds. Annette’s food was yummy. Overall, our stay there elevated our trip and gifted us beautiful memories. We would definitely love to go back and would recommend Hotel Villa Brinkly with no hesitation. Thank you Annette and Erik!

Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen. I don't know that I'd have ever thought to go there but my son decided to get married there. It was an ideal meeting place for both families as his wife is from Germany. There are lots of lovely shops and restaurants and the ferry to Sweden is super easy to catch. We enjoyed our short stay. :)

I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! Koge is not a touristy town so really nice to see the Danes doing their market shopping on a saturday morning too. Great restaurants too.

It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. I would say the staff in the 7 eleven at the station I do like the best, however at late card terminal may not be operation. Feeling safe.

Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a small shopping area with a supermarket, small restaurants and every convenience very close. It’s a bit out of the city centre, so maybe not ideal if you are sightseeing in Copenhagen, but it’s on a bus line. My only small gripe- the pillows were small and we could have used two each and the winter bedcovers were too warm for June. Otherwise a great hotel where we will definitely stay again.

Typical northern city. No different from Bruges. Expensive parking, no way to pay for it unless you download a local app (which asks you to disclose half your life while all you want is 15min of parking space)... Prohibited parking spots are unclear to the non danish. Better be careful where you leave your car. People are kind of cold, the usual, same as Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland... Hotels are expensive, and not always up to standards. Waiters are easily annoyed by questions or if you take time to choose. Had a couple of warmer encounters outside town, and spotted a couple of streets in the city center (near Magasins du Nord) that seemed appealing, with designer shops and restaurants. Will give it another chance some day when I have more time to visit Tivoli and all, but first contact was meh. Had more fun outside of Copehagen... Great countryside.

Historic buildings extremely interesting, nice architectural design of the town, close location to many potential places worth sightseeing. A little bit too poor availability of restaurants, in particular on weekends. Very unfortunate system of payment for parking lots in town, complicated in operation and not always working. Personally I was very displeased with necessity to install mobile apps.
