Odense has many attractions for young and old.
Odense has many attractions for young and old. If you are a tea enthusiast, you must visit Perch's Tea House for tea and scones in an elegant setting. The Brandt Museum is not worth it unless you enjoy somewhat outrageous modern art including what looked like a dead dog on a small blanket. There are also some great side trips include Egiskov Castle and all the museums around it. The pedestrian zone in Odense has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and great people watching. We had a good tapas dinner and very poor sushi dinner, so a quick look at menus is highly recommended.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0
This was a pleasant surprise, to say the least!
This was a pleasant surprise, to say the least! The host was super nice and she made the check in very easy. The place was clean and well maintained. And to top it all off, there was a great breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!Guest review byTorbenCanada - 10.0
Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood.
Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood. During the summer the harbour is filled with many interesting old, wooden, sea craft and there are many restaurants and bars close by. A ferry to the neighbouring island of Æreø departs from the harbour every 1-2 hours. The small town of Ærøskøbing on this island is well worth a visit. This place is like something out of a Walt Disney movie. Cobbled streets are lined on both sides with beautiful houses all of which seem to date from 1700-1800's with odd ones dating back even earlier.Guest review byStuartDenmark - 8.0

Nyborg until late 90 was a very busy train and car-ferry town. That changed with the completion of the Store Belt Bridge. My impression is that the town has been able to cope with these changes creating a lively newly build peripheral. The location with a waterfront in town center as well as beaches and forests further out are invaluable assets. Apart from that of course the Castle, a must see. Nyborg is a small town but rich in history, and a number of attractive beach front hotels.Guest review byBibianeSweden - 10.0

there is a lot of one way streets so if 2 go buy car make sure to check the map before you go. The people seems really nice, and the city has a nice old town vibe. if u want to eat at a restaurant they serve mostly fish and has like 2-4 different things on the menu(but u can ofc. get like pizza as well). it seems like a good city with a lot of events and city life.Guest review byPoul CDenmark - 10.0
I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.
I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. A large roomy, nicely renovated hotel. It's not the most scenic hotel but it is conveniently located. The rates were very reasonable and my room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were friendly and I like the fact that I could grab a coffee from the machines in the foyer area. It made my stay even more relaxing. Thank you.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Beautiful little town.
Beautiful little town. We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and it was great to be in a lively city after days in the country side. We really enjoyed walking around the harbour, where there was plenty of choice for drinks and food. Downtown was lovely too.Guest review byEliseBelgium
