Step outside, and you can already see the hotel building. This was a huge plus since there are countless buses, trains, and trams departing from the station, making it easy to reach any destination directly from the hostel. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants in the train station, many of which stay open until quite late, which was super convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere at MEININGER Hotels is always great, and this one was no exception. The lobby has cozy chairs, perfect for relaxing and meeting other travelers. As for cleanliness, there was room for improvement. While I’ve stayed in cleaner hostels, I’ve also stayed in much dirtier ones! So, overall, while it could be a bit better, it was still well above average and generally felt clean. The beds were comfortable, each with its own light, though I would have appreciated a small shelf next to each bed. As someone who wears glasses, that would have been very handy! There was, however, a large shelf in the room. The space was well-designed for four beds, and the bathroom was spacious. There were two elevators, so there was hardly any waiting to get up and down. The room was really cool. It was comfortable and clean. The shower is kind of in the room. There is a little privacy but if you are shy maybe check this out first. We thought it was cool and funny. The toiletries provided were really lovely. If they had of been on sale I would have bought them. The bar upstairs is really cool with incredible views over the zoo and city. Overall it was great.
Overall it was great. I stayed for a week coz I love visiting museums and attractions. I enjoyed Berlin zoo and aquarium, the Deja Vu museum, the river cruise and Dark Matter the most. 3-5days is enough if you just wanna explore the city and not into museums at all. The apartment was in a quiet serene area. Walking distance to Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch. Rewe supermarket within walking distance. Bustop right outside the apartment. Apartment was fully equipped and had all the amenities one may require. Cosy, clean and beautiful. Hot showers, comfortable beds, sun room. Berlin was the best!
Berlin was the best! An amazing city ..vibrant and diverse with so much to see and lots of history. The transport system was easy to follow and got you to the most important attractions and sights to see. The Berlin Wall is a must ,Olympian stadium and Reichstag with the vast array of architecture old and new was stunning .
