My balcony overlooked the clock and was lovely. Even though it is very busy, no noise is heard in the room. This is a truly one of a kind hotel with plenty of restaurants and tourist shops around within walking distance. The staff here are superb, especially Anatastia on the front desk. She was great help to me always. The women who picked up the mess left by people eating breakfast were efficient and hard working and deserved to be tipped ---- not that anyone but me did. If you are staying at Astoria Hotel then it's only 5 minutes...
If you are staying at Astoria Hotel then it's only 5 minutes walk into town. Gorgeous pizza at Lascala restaurant near main square. Beautiful Thai restaurant called Lemon Leaf and omg the macaroons at Mad Rabbit are amazing. Make sure you do all bridges including Charles Bridge as they all have their unique views.
