Very great interior. The staff is very helpful and kind, they are very result oriented. We ask late check out, but the room booked after us, do we had to leaves but they offered to stay in a hotel and use the hotel facilities until we have a flight. Room is very clean, and a view is perfect from the balcony.

When we arrived we were told that we had a free upgrade to a junior suite! It was AMAZING! I do not have a bad word to say about this hotel. The food was so nice. It was spotless. The staff are lovely - especially Stathis (and his sister!) One of the best 3 days we have ever had. So romantic and such fun xx Thank you

    The resort features all the hallmarks of a five-star experience, but all of this comes a close second to the natural beauty of the gardens that surrounds it. Very nice rooms, fine bars with great choice of local and international sweets and snacks, great restaurants with excellent food and service all around the hotel. Smooth and very helpful professional check in and out. If you are smoker you are allowed to smoke on the open terrace attached to the bar or on your room’ s balcony or terrace. No pesky insects or mosquitoes during our stay- either because it was hot or because of the planting of aromatic bushes?

    Nicely decorated hotel, where every guest is treated individually (welcome drink, cookies in the evening..). We had an upgraded room with a large balcony. Special thanks to the manager - on the day of our departure, he provided us with drinks, asked about the satisfaction of our stay.... We stayed in September and always found a parking space for our car. We explored the beautiful beaches in the surrounding area with a rented car. Special praise to the young lady at dinner who showed us everything on the first day. And for the chef who was willing to make an extra dish for our toddler.

    Paphos isn’t the most “holiday-like” town – it has more of an industrial feel than a classic resort vibe. The harbour is pleasant with restaurants and shops. The beaches are mostly stony or pebbly, so you need to know where to go. Coral Bay and Coralia Bay are the most sandy, with plenty of sunbeds and bars right on the beach. If you’re after something a bit more unique, Olive Tree Beach is worth a visit. Overall, Paphos has some good spots, you just need to know how to find them.

    First, think about what kind of vacation you want.

    First, think about what kind of vacation you want. If nightlife and clubs are important to you, it’s best to stay near the center. If you’re looking for a more relaxing holiday and nightlife is not a priority, I recommend finding accommodation close to one of the beaches, preferably Makronisos or Landa (this year Nissi Beach was a disappointment). It’s quieter there, yet you still have restaurants and markets nearby, and you can easily reach the center by bus (around 10 minutes). Be sure to download the Cyprus Bus app to check timetables and routes, it makes planning your trips much easier. Also, don’t rely only on buses 101 and 102; many other lines run along Nissi Avenue and can take you from beach to beach. For those who don’t go to the beach early (before 11–12), it’s a good idea to buy your own umbrella on the first day (around €30 for a good one). After 11–12 it’s hard to find a free sunbed, and it’s a shame to go all the way to the beach only to have to leave or go somewhere else. Take advantage of the fact that the front rows on the beach are reserved for people with their own umbrellas and sunbeds.

    Only spent 2 days in Larnaka as I was attending a wedding. Visited the Mall for some last minute essentials and strolled around the town with all the tourist shops stopping for a light lunch at one of the many eating venues.

    Protaras has beautiful beaches, great activities like boat trips and parasailing. The local strip has great restaurants and pubs and is very lively in the evening. Also very close to Ayia Napa and Sotira has really good restaurants.

    Good bits were going to the wall city as it is known.it has a history which was interesting. The only one negative point was it was very hot and humid. Apart from the weather being a little hot it was an enjoyable outing. Just across the wall city there was a coffee shop that serves delicious cream cakes, sandwich, coffee, tea, wine and of course beers etc.

    Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus.

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus. it has a lovely vibe and many restaurants and cafes to choose from. I recommend Pendeli Hotel for a luxurious stay or forest park if looking for a very budget friendly stay. Petit Palais is one of the oldest hotels in the square and is loved by locals and tourists. EnPlatron is one of my favourite Taverns offering great traditional dishes and live music on weekends. Kaledonia Tavern is also a favourite local tavern so make sure to give it a try Cleopatra Bistro is a favourite for modern dining and deserts and beverages. Beautiful and modern decor if looking for yummy fast food try I Sitzia Tou Mavrou for a delicious Gyros

    We chose a strategy of staying in a relatively central location, between Larnaca/Limassol and Ayia Napa, and rented a car. The drives were relatively short, around 30–45 minutes, with clear roads, no traffic, and a highway running across the country. I recommend others do the same.

    Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square.
