Standard but good hotel room. Car park was free and useful, a bit small for the big cars. Shower was a bit odd, as it was either hot and a lot of water, or cold and normal amount of water. Windows could not open Breakfast had many options and was good.

    The staff members were so welcome all the time. Yohanna was the receptionist and she was very nice with both of uf. Food for breakfast was delicious. The hotel is close to the downtown, walking. people need umbrella because is really sunny. Staff members offered food from a restaurant close to the hotel and it was delivered to the room. They allowed us late checkout without penalty or extra payment. GET THE SUITE, its huge and it has a bathtub in the bathroom that you can enjoy with your love.

    It’s a good hub to explore other parts of the Llanos.

    It’s a good hub to explore other parts of the Llanos. To get an introduction to Llanos culture go to the Malokas park. We also visited Ocaros biopark which has a lot of local fauna on display. Although the animals seem well treated the park needs an update to bring it up to today’s standards. If you like meat this is a great place to try it, I’d recommend the asadero Amarradero del Mico The Primavera Urbana mall has some excellent food options

    I arrived at 530pm and got picked up at 9am the next morning...

    I arrived at 530pm and got picked up at 9am the next morning for a safari trip. It was going dark so didn't see much - a park and the cathedral. There's a lot of shops and service being the main town for the region but nothing to see as a tourist. Not much open in the evening in terms of restaurants. Went to Can-West burger place full of local people and good. For breakfast there were more options. If I could have got an early flight the following morning I would have skipped Yopal altogether. The safari accommodation wias at Casa Cumbres about 20 mins out of the city with amazing views. There seemed to be a few places around that area which would be preferable to town (but not walkable)

    Canos Cristales is stunning and well worth the trip.

    Canos Cristales is stunning and well worth the trip. The beauty of the rock formations, the crystal clear waters, and many colors of the river are truly stunning. It was one of our best trips in Colombia. We had a local guide, which is highly recommended and well worth it. The town is quaint, meals were plentiful, and there are plenty of options for rustic but comfortable accomodation.

    Liked nature hikes at Bosque de Bavaria (but most people do not know where it is), Trips to Restrepo to Altos de Caney Rips to Carmen nature reserve. The main shopping mall close to the Hotel. The warm weather. Did not like:Lack of road signage,even lack of signs indicating the road to Bogota.Without my GPS in the car,finding places is very difficult.

    Great small city.

    Great small city. Has everything you need without the mess of a big city. People are very nice and helpful. Weather is warm/hot, but almost all places have good air conditioning. I felt secure walking around the hotel and mall. Will go back for sure.
