We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 5 elementos corferias. Front Office Staff Camilo and Alejandro were really friendly. Especially Camilo gave us nice suggestions. Breakfast was very authentic and staff David was nice and prepared us delicious eggs with vegetables. Housekeeping ladies were polite and helpful. Overall room was clean and had a nice interior design. The only thing that really bothered us was the early renovation and construction noise. It started like 6 or 630am. Muchas gracias! Everything about this hotel is simply amazing - the location - very safe, a lot of restaurants nearby, the staff is very polite, rooms are big and super clean, the breakfast is with various choices and there is something for everybody, the best breakfast we had during our stay in Colombia. The food in the restaurants is also very nice. I would always come back!

Sonesta overbooked so I had no room. It was no problem though they arranged me a super new hotel at a good rate in a great area. The staff member was super professional and I was happy to move.     We were a group of four and booked a local tour company for private tours over five separate days. I highly recommend it, because we would otherwise not have known which neighbourhoods to explore, and we would have missed out on learning about Bogota’s interesting history. We stayed in the Parque 93 area and ate at several local Colombian restaurants there, also enjoying great Italian, Japanese, and Mexican food nearby. Getting around Bogota is easy and safe with Uber, but plan extra time for traffic, because there is always traffic! The people were so friendly.

    Bogota, like other places in Colombia, is steeped in cautious optimism for the future. Everywhere we saw people, representing Colombia's mix of cultures, interacting with us and each other with friendliness and creative energy. We recommend the Graffiti tour, Monserrate, and museums - Oro, Nacional & Botero. Walking around Candelaria and nearby neighborhoods is magical. Bogota is also the jumping off place for the Amazon, the Caribbean coast and Medellin - all of which we enjoyed.

    I love Bogota, the weather and the people are wonderful. it is like a combination of the good of a developed and the good of a developing country all in one. Of course there is some things that need improving, but it is a very nice combination of features.
