We recently had the pleasure of staying at an Bonjour boutique Hotel and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the delicious halal cuisine to the comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, and exceptional service, every aspect of my stay left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the mouthwatering halal meals (they prepared especially according to our culture)provided in the morning.The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that each meal was not only prepared with love and care but also represented the rich flavors of authentic Arab cuisine. The variety of dishes offered was extensive, catering to different preferences and dietary requirements. Each meal was a culinary delight that I savored to the last bite. Moving on to the accommodation, the rooms were well-furnished and thoughtfully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the comfortable bedding to the tasteful decor that reflected the local culture. The cleanliness was impeccable, which significantly contributed to the overall comfort and relaxation during my stay. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff deserve special mention. The entire team was not only friendly and warm but also genuinely dedicated to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Their readiness to assist in any way they could, whether it was arranging transportation, suggesting local attractions, or answering our queries, made us feel truly valued and pampered throughout our stay. It was evident that the staff's top priority was ensuring our satisfaction and creating a memorable experience for guests. Aside from the wonderful amenities and outstanding service.The hotel is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provided the perfect respite from the daily grind. This hostel is excellent. The staff takes good care of us and speaks English, which is very good. Also provided help for our tourism in Guilin, here is very good, there is a leisure trail, people are very relaxed, I think I will come back. It is commendable that the room is clean and thoughtfully prepared a rich breakfast for us, which is really a pleasant and unforgettable experience.

The whole experience was amazing. Location is the best in Guilin. Remote but on a lake and lovely to walk around it first thing in the morning or early evening. Both Melody and Cheng couldn’t have been more helpful. They assisted with trips, taxis and great advice. I also had an oil massage in my room and the therapist Huan was amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer. The building itself is very modern right on the waters edge. I will definitely be back as I found it most relaxing.

This is a lovely hotel where the hosts helped us feel relaxed and at home from the start. The property is in a perfect spot to enjoy the terrain - not far from Guilin, but tucked away from the city in a quiet holiday village that has a few fantastic restaurants and beautiful walks and cycle paths all around. I stayed a whole week and would have happily stayed a month! Armed with WeChat and translation apps, we could communicate well with our very helpful host. He fed us good breakfasts, arranged a long-distance taxi when we got stuck one night in Yangshuo, and even sent me to his very good dentist when I had a toothache. I will send friends there and come back!

The location right on the river was spectacular. Beautiful views, great front garden. While no pool is advertised, there is a little splash pool that was perfect and deep enough for our kids (and an adult) to cool off in. We moved from a cheaper hotel here as, between the superb location, free bikes, and helpful staff, the higher accomodation costs were covered by fewer taxi rides and equipment rentals. We were so glad we made the move. All the staff are fantastic and helpful and make arranging things much easier. The food was also great with Western and Chinese options.

    Great hotel! Perfect location between two villages, close to the parking lot, comfortable rooms, friendly family - owners of the hotel. They do best they can to make our trip unforgettable. Local food, care and outstanding support is the value added to the room reservation in this hotel. In details: (1) Hotel location is more convenient, then most others, because just ~300 meters from the parking lot /bus stop; (2) easy to find Hotel, because it is exactly on the main road (3) there is awesome view from rooms with balcony (as we had🥳) (4) there is convenient path to main attraction in this area - Nine dragons and five tigers point view - MUST see (5) during the stay we been surrounded by Jason and his wonderful family - it’s really untypical personal touch. And i would like to highlight super delicious dishes from Jason’s mother in law😍 PS: several words about travelling there in december, as we did - weather is convenient for hiking, because no mud, no rain, and soft sunny. Another “gift” it is very very few tourists. Rare terraces with water, except which i mentioned above “must see” - we been surprised. And Christmas eve lightning show was amazing😍

    I have beeb to the secret garden now a few times over the last 10 years or so. Yanshuo and yulong river area have changed heaps over the years, here i still find peace and quiet. Villagers were planting rice. The locals gather at the river in the evening to cool down. On an electric scooter you can easily explore les touristy areas. The staff was really helpful. The western treats at restaurant made my day.

    Nanning is a beautiful city.

    Nanning is a beautiful city. We enjoyed an evening exploring the streets around the hotel even though there were quite a large roadwork project going on. We only spent one full day in the city to fit in at the end of our 15 day visa free viit to China. Qinxiushan scenic area is quite stunning and a beauitiful place requiring a full day to fully appreciate. There is a lot more to see in and around Nanning so we may need to return one day!

    UNESCO site. Beautiful landscapes. wear proper hiking waterproof shoes. Raincoat for rainy days in March. plan to spend at least 2 nights. book rides with the Hotel to facilitate the arrival process...visitors have to pay entrance fee to the Ping On village. there is a ticket office and security gate for this purpose. travel light and enjoy its natural beauty.

    Something important to mention is that the map location on booking.com didn't correspond with the actual location of the hotel I stayed in! so this is something to double check and rectify! Beihai old town was fantastic and shopping for pearls and eating out was wonderful-there are beautiful souvenirs, great food and architecture and it is the best place to buy pearls (bracelets, rings, necklaces, broaches etc...) A trip to the nearby Weizhou island is quite the treat but the actual beaches in Beihai seem to get way too/ridiculously crowded in the Summer and seem to be in a state of development with lots of construction taking place next to them!

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin.

    Yangshuo is what people think of when they think of Guilin. It is set in beautiful surroundings, with karst hills, forests and rivers, is full of history and interest and is packed with lively bars and restaurants but has easy access to quieter, rural lanes and villages. Visitors love to dress up in local dress and photograph themselves so there's quite a party atmosphere. I loved it and wished I'd stayed longer than two nights.

    It’s the provincial capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region so there’s a lot economic and social activity going around. Lots of entertainment venues and good infrastructure and transportation services to navigate around the city. Just remember to keep some loose change if you’re taking the bus since the phone payment systems only work for Chinese citizens.

    Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night. It was very easy to get around and the entire village at Ping'an has English and Chinese signage all on farming/hiking trails. I can't believe how empty the village is and part of me is concerned that not enough tourists are visiting even though I loved the serenity of it. Many stores/hotels were empty or closed, perhaps due to COVID-19.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.
