- From US$98.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 140 reviewsIt is an exceptional place where a kind of hospitality is practiced which unluckily has become so infrequent: one that is not commercial and based on clichés about supposed wellbeing, but on human relationship and a spontaneity which makes you feel at home immediately. Pablo, de owner and host, gave us broad and far-reaching information about the place, the valley, its history etc. , right upon arrival... It is like staying at a friend's place. Thanks, Pablo!!!Guest review byBennoParaguay
- From US$135.71 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 598 reviewsOur experience at Rustico Cottage #2 was nothing short of delightful. Its ideal location in the heart of Maggia Valley, near the Ronchini bus stop, offered us stunning views. The cottage itself was a cozy haven, with a modern kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, and a refreshing shower in the bathroom. We were so enamored that moving in crossed our minds, and without a doubt, we'll be returning.Guest review byCorinaGermany

Alexa is taking care of her guests in a perfect way. The whole location is super clean. There is a adorable Osteria at 50m walk with very good food for a reasonable price. Location is fantastic. We would go back with pleasure if we are in the region again. Many thanks to Alexa for this perfect hosting.Guest review byCedricSwitzerland

Bignasco is very handily situated in the crossroads of an excellent hiking region. Staying there for 2,5 days gave a possibility for a few great hikes, but staying twice as long would have been better. I used Bignasco only as a starting point to trips farther away and missed out on most local sights, that I discovered once I was already leaving. One must take time to walk around the village, visit the waterfall (and perhaps take a swim there), check out the old houses and bridges, climb on top of "the mushroom" and pick blueberries by the hiking trails.Guest review byTiinaEstonia
