I loved everything in this hotel. The staff was fantastic, the cleaning lady was so kind. The location is excellent, you can go walking to the main places in Downtown Vancouver. We asked for help to scheduling our whale watching and the Concierge not only made the reservation, he warned us about the day with the best weather conditions for the tour.

I loved the rooms, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were all really professional and friendly. The location was great to see the attractions like the ice hockey and still close enough to go to Stanley park and Gaston and all the shops in Robson St and Frankie’s restaurant.

After a long haul flight, I didn’t fancy driving to find a hotel in a city you hadn’t visited before. Although in the airport, you do not hear the planes, although if you want to watch them come and go you can. This was a great room to relax after your flight and get your bearings. The breakfast was also great and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the building had such a great energy about it. Our room was lovely, beautiful wallpaper and decor. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were so soft. As well the house coat fit perfectly, they are usually small on me and I appreciated the big comfy housecoats after a nice soak in the jacuzzi bath with lovely bath salts. great stay!

I was originally going to be here for four nights but unfortunately the WiFi was too slow for me to work here. The - amazing - everything-else outweighs that though if you’re not working while here :) I stayed in the cabin and loved the details, the fireplace, the view (!!), the shower, the bed.. all of it. I had breakfast here and it was also super great, cooked perfectly and clearly good ingredients. (New ownership from what I was told :)) Everyone who worked here was kind and accommodating and they allowed me to cancel after the first night since I couldn’t stay because of the internet. That was very much appreciated! Will be back on a long weekend sans work to stay … and kayak when the weather allows it ✨

The room was great, overlooking the ocean and mountains. Everything was so clean, and I feel it was the best location in town! The hotel has its own little private beach, restaurants, and swimming pools. I arrived at the hotel early on check-in day, and there was a room available, so that was a plus. We stayed in the middle of February, the weather was chilly, so we couldn't really enjoy the outdoors pools or swim in any of the beaches, but we will definitely return in the summer!

We've stayed at the Watermark before, and loved the location. We get a suite with a view of the Lake. The facility is always very clean, and has everything we need. It was winter, but we could see people enjoying the very large hot tub, We had lunch at the Watermark restaurant, and really enjoyed our very tasty meal. Our suite provided lovely bathrobes and the beds were exquisitely comfortable.

Vancouver is beautiful and has a lot to experience and you need a full week to enjoy it. People have been really friendly and helpful. It is important being mobile and have a car so you can visit most of the places as everything requires at least 30 minutes to an hour of travel and transport is expensive and difficult to navigate. Be prepared with a good budget as everything is quite expensive and the cost gets worse if you have a unfavorable exchange rate.

So much to see and do.

So much to see and do. Victoria offers a plethora of options and a beautiful backdrop for all. As a group of women we spent time rummaging through an antique and thrift store, visited a trendy market and experienced a “Scottish high tea”. Something for everyone! Always the downside to any large city is the traffic but with some patience and a good navigator traversing the city is very doable…and there are many tour buses that offer the best option.

Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many. We made use of the various walks, the Kenna Cartwright park had a fabulous ridge walk. We ate in the Noble Pig, walkable from the accommodation and well worth the visit. Kamloops lake is very popular if you have a boat or like fishing. It is a town of many sports, we even found a "horseshoe" court! Wild deer came into town to eat the overflowing vegetables at the community gardens. A sight to remember

This wasn't our first trip to Nanaimo so we did know our way around most of the city and beyond, but it is always a great place to be. We love the well planned Harbour walkways, many events in the parks, the beach trails. Our favourite beach walks are Piper's Lagoon and Neck Point. There are many good music venues, restaurants, scenic drives and walks. We easily found side roads that were basically parallel to the highway to get to and from downtown. Nanaimo has has a LOT to offer any visitor of any age! Can't wait to return!

Have been to Tofino 3 times now and as a senior I find it to be overpriced and overhyped. If you are young and into the surf scene then Tofino is a must go. Otherwise most of the activities found there (except any unique scenery of course) can be found in less expensive places.
