Everyone was extremely friendly and have accommodated us perfectly! I asked them to help me set up my marriage proposal and they went above and beyond to help me. We had private activities for our full stay and they helped organize a romantic sunset boat tour for my proposal. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Jackalberry Chobe Lodge, amazing people, beautiful views, the pool was great, the food was great and the activities were well organized, always on time. The perfect way to visit the Chobe region!

Chobe House offers bright, large, clean, comfortable spaces where to stay. But what made it exceptional for me were the following 3 aspects: 1. Its ethical approach to tourism by offering reasonable prices and investing in the local people. Many lodges charge exorbitant, abusive prices that are not distributed equitably to their workers or the community they are in. Additionally, the all-inclusive and ‘enclosed’ nature of the lodges is detrimental to the community because it deprives local businesses, such as restaurants, bars, taxi drivers, etc… from developing. Chobe House offers activities and meal options if you want to add any on, but by not automatically including them, you have the flexibility to self-manage your trip and also engage with the local trade. 2. The wonderful team at the premises led by Tshi and Twinkle. Tshi is always welcoming and efficient. Twinkle has a contagious upbeat manner and is always helpful. 3. The large floating raft on the Chobe River where you could sit in tranquility and try to find a hiding hippo in the water or marvel at the colours of the sunset.

Friendly owner, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Big shower and toilet with Air-conditioning and DSTV, Safe parking with big outside kitchen facilities. Would recommend to anyone.

Everything was made with love (e.g. dinner, room decorations) and perfectly orchestrated (e.g. activities). Everyone was very caring (e.g. helping us see leopards during game drives :D). We could feel they wanted us to have the best possible stay and we did! We'll definitely come back to their lodge for our next trip to Botswana.

The staff were amazing and very flexible. They delayed breakfast until we returned from our safari. They were always looking out for us. The Guesthouse is such a lovely place. Very warm and welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Everything. It’s a quiet place, no thrills, just what you need. Nothing more. In the evening animals are coming to the water hole, giraffes, impalas and many elephants. We stopped counting after 50! It’s incredible

Great location, fantastic facilities, lovely owner and staff. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chobe River Front National Park. Only 7km from Ngoma Gate. The quiet area. On route to the gate one morning on the road we saw African wild dogs, elephants and impala! Also great value for money.
