- From US$60.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 234 reviewsOn a scale from 1 to 10, this place was for me at least 11. It was quiet, the room was spacious, impeccably clean, lovely big shower area and the hostess, Irene, was extremely helpful and kind. I had already booked some tours from Kasane before getting here, but I have to say that I regretted not going through Irene, since she can organise everything. She went way above the "call of duty" and I truly felt as if I were at home away from home. The yard is quite large and It felt very pleasant sitting there. My only comment, which I shared with Irene, was that the presentation of the place on Booking.com was not clear enough. I had worried whether I would be able to get some food, while at the Nxabii Cottages, but in fact everything could be arranged - from self-catering, through home-made food, to ordering from the outside. A true gem! Both the place and Irene.Guest review byVericaSerbia
- From US$556.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 161 reviewsRooms were superb and exceeded our expectations, especially with the evening turn down service. Mr Kufa, the food and beverage line manager was super friendly and personalised our dining experience. The food was super delicious curtesy of chef B and chef Colin and crew. All the staff were friendly and they went an extra mile to make our stay and our Dad's birthday memorable,l. The sunsets over the river Chobe will make you fall in love over and over, the game drives and river cruise will satisfy your dreams of experiencing wildlife live close and personal. We absolutely loved every moment of our stay.Guest review bymandisaAbkhazia
- From US$61.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 179 reviewsThe staff is very welcoming and helpful They have always been so kind, when we left we asked if they could prepare us some breakfast to take away as we were leaving early in the morning with a long drive ahead us, they did and it was delicious! They also organised a couple of tours for us and everything went great! The room is clean and comfortable and we also loved the fact that is situated in a village away from tourist but not far from the centre (walking distance)Guest review bySaraUnited Kingdom
- From US$301.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 330 reviewsEverything was made with love (e.g. dinner, room decorations) and perfectly orchestrated (e.g. activities). Everyone was very caring (e.g. helping us see leopards during game drives :D). We could feel they wanted us to have the best possible stay and we did! We'll definitely come back to their lodge for our next trip to Botswana.Guest review byMélissandeGermany

The situation of the Lodge is great, on a hill overlooking Savuti. The game drives were great and had a wonderful guide. The accommodation is very comfortable and all the staff were lovely. We ate very well. Would definitely go back there again.Guest review byNicky Sabatini FoxSwitzerland

Kasane is a convenient gateway for Chobe safaris, but in terms of accommodation, the variety is quite limited and not as refined as what you'll find in nearby destinations. Personally, I would prefer staying in Livingstone and doing a day trip to Kasane, as it offers a wider range of quality stays and overall a more well-rounded experience.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Muchenje has beautiful shaded level campsites with wonderful exclusive use spotless bathroom facilities, the Staff are professional and communication around your booking is almost instantaneous unlike the Botswana norm. The position is perfect to explore the southern reaches of the Chobe National Park as an alternative to Ihaha, or as a stop between Kasane and Savuti or before Ngoma Gate. There is a new fuel station close by.Guest review byGarySouth Africa - 10.0

It was easy to get around and we were able to get everything we needed. The boat trip on the Chobe River was unforgettable with the river crossing of the elephants and the sun going down! We also visit the Chobe Game Reserve and were able to see many lions, Kudu, impalas and a leopard!!! We did the early morning game drive and visitors must remember to dress warmly! It is lovely on the open vehicles, but it is very cold!!!! We would love to visit again, but most of the roads are in a terrible condition.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Cruising the river was awesome, we went twice and the second time we saw the elephant swimming over to the Island too feed on the grass, it was an amazing sight that we will never forget. We took an organized tour and had lunch at an amazing resortGuest review byCheryl RoseAustralia
