Room fittings are excellent and it was really comfortable. USB points by the bed and really fast USB on the desktop. Great Wi-Fi around the entire resort.
If you're from the UK be prepared for sky high prices but thats the island rather than the hotel. One night we had a KFC delivery which was $78 !!!!!!! If you go out for dinner a cab each way will be $20-$25 without a tip
The pool is the best I've been in in my life (and I'm 73 now). Its 1.3m all over so ideal for me as a non swimmer to just stand in and relax. Views over the beach and the sea. Watch the cruise liners coming in and out. Just perfect
The resort is at the right end of the beach as the waves are gentlest and it has the least loose eel grass.

BrazilWe stayed at the hotel for only a short time, but it was enough to have a truly positive experience.
First and foremost, our check-in had to be done at 10 PM due to a significant delay with Bahamasair. The front desk staff - DAVRIAN - warmly welcomed us and even arranged for a pizza since we were starving. At checkout, they provided us with fresh fruit, even though breakfast service hadn’t started yet.
The hotel offers airport transfers and rides to other areas of Nassau at a very reasonable price. While the building and furniture are a bit dated, this actually adds a certain charm to the hotel.
Throughout our stay, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend the Ocean West Boutique Hotel!

PolandStaff was very friendly and helpful contrary to reviews I have read before. They offered us early check-in (at 11:00 am) without extra charges, which was very nice! Hotel and area is clean, garden is beautiful and full of beautiful plants. There was a party on Saturday, but it did not interfere with our stay. Breakfast was standard american, nevertheless everything was fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed closeness of all Paradise Island attractions and having free access to Atlantis park, but still I was able to enjoy quietness and "boutique" vibe of the hotel. Definitely want to come back!

IrelandOur room was beautiful, lovely wooden floor and a huge balcony. Chris met us on arrival and checked us in and he couldn't have been more heplful to us. We were having difficultly with our phones and he very kindly contacted the driver who was to pick us up the next day for a day trip , to confirm the pick up time. We met Shanique the following day and she was just as kind and helpful.

This is a family business, with a least three generations of owners living next door. They seem to be among the rare hosts, who really enjoy what they are doing, and they show it. The staff mostly takes their example from the owners. The rooms are a bit of age, as is the entire complex, but it does have its history, and it does not disturb. It is part of local history. The view across the ocean and the flora around the complex are stunning - a real paradise. It is a bit isolated - the owners can arrange a car for you if you want to get around at a very decent price. The golf area, known as the Ocean Club, is highly recommended. The restaurants were lovely, with very welcoming and warm staff. The view from the room was enchanting. All the marine animals were truly beautiful, and the beach was stunning. The lobby was super fantastic, and the casino was also very impressive. It was a 500m to the main road where you could then catch the local bus otherwise around a 1.2km to fish fry. Our room was great, big, clean & comfortable. I like the area I was at.
I like the area I was at. Very nice place, Friendly people, a lot of fun spots. What I don't like are the prices they show up on my research are not the prices I paid when I got there. Things are very expensive, foods are expensive. A three minutes taxi trip cost $25.00. Some of the taxi have no AC and their car are not clean and some of them just stopped at the gas station rolled down the windows, slammed the door and went to fuel their car without an excuse. The location and views were excellent! The view from our oceanfront villa was absolutely breathtaking! The villa was clean and accommodating with a well-equipped kitchen area. My family enjoyed the beach and pool area and could always find a beach chair at the pool and on the beach. Staff on the resort was very helpful and always pleasant. Enjoyed the old town, the friendliness and hospitality of the locals. Also visite the pirate museum and took a sunrise walk along cabbage beach on paradise island. Rented a car for one day and explored the island, stopped at several places, the highlight being meeting up with a friend at the Old Fort Bay Club, beautiful beach and facilities. The hotel staff and locals were friendly and nice. They always acknowledged visitors even in the streets. Clean island with friendly people. The island tour, Pearl Island getaway and sunset dinner cruise were amazing. I highly recommend those activities.
