We recently stayed at Lederer hotel in Kaprun and we were thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the Alpe. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities one could need. One of the highlights was the Kaprun Summer Card, which the hotel provided. This card gave us free or discounted access to many attractions and activities in the region, including the stunning Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and scenic lake cruises. It added incredible value to our trip and made exploring Kaprun and the surrounding areas so much more enjoyable.  Overall, Lederer hotel  provided an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaprun.

Excellent location, the kitchen window was like a painting, we could see the lake, the mountains, so beautiful. Very clean room, big terrace, I liked the ''honesty card'' policy at the bar.:) walking distance to the main streets and one of the ski lifts. We will come back in the summer! Big, easy to access parking with electrical charging station, which was great since we have an electric car. Self check out process very easy. Pool was very nice, very crowded in the evening but not in the morning.

I travel a lot, to the sea, tourist goals and, especially, skiing. I stayed in 5-star and 4-star hotels...I left both positive and negative reviews according to how I felt treated. I arrived at LukasMayr ​​by accident, there I found an offer for the last hundred meters for Zell, Saalbach, Kaprun. And I want to say that it was the best choice. It was the first time I felt at home. The friendliness of the staff, the management, the large and clean rooms, the parking, the quietness of the settlement of 4000 people, their respect. As for the food, breakfast and dinner...impeccable. Maybe nowhere have I eaten better and more organized (each room had a reserved table). Congratulations to the family of owners, who work side by side with the employees and who gave me the impression that the LukasMayr ​​team is a family in itself. The ski bus leaves right in front of the hotel. Room for heating slippers. A hotel that this family rented in ruins and is trying to bring it to perfection.     We loved everything about this hotel! It is modern, but with a nice touch of rustic details typical of the area. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious, functional and comfortable (bed was really comfortable). Our room was overlooking the ski slopes, which was a nice bonus. The hotel has a spa area (a small pool with two types of saunas and a jacuzzi) which is not very big, but totally enough. We loved the food which was of great variety (both breakfast and dinner), and really beautifully prepared. The entire staff was great - at the restaurant, the cleaning ladies, people at the reception - everyone was so friendly and nice, the atmosphere at the restaurant is truly perfect:. Probably the most important thing about this hotel is it's location at the very start of 3 major ski lifts - you practically exit the hotel and hop on the ski lift. At the same time, you can ski down the 2 slopes directly to the hotel. If you are coming to Zell am See to ski or hike, this is the best hotel option by far.

    Hotel is nicely decorated. Rooms are great with nice view on the mountain. It is very nice hotel, 600m ,easy walk from Areitbahn which brings you to the top of the Ski area. Skibus is 100-150m away. Hotel has nice ski storage. Several restaurants around. Swimming pool, relax rooms and saunas are nice and free to use. The breakfast is expensive, but gourmet with served dishes. I'm not sure it is worth money for e.g. seven days stay (because after few days I just want something simple for breakfast), but for 2-3 days I would take the breakfast again for sure.

    Great hotel for family vacation. We have to give the highest feedback for overall impression. Quality of food is at a very satisfying level with a good variety of meals. Hotel is clean and service is excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly, and I would especially like to give special thank to the Slavica, Ankica, Dusanka, Tamara and Monika, which made us feel whole vacation like home. Swiming pool was warm, playroom area great and kids enjoyed a lot. Ski Bus station is at 30m from hotel.

Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

    Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

    Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed.     Calm little village with perfect location as starting point for skiing in 3 ski resorts included in Saalbach SkiCircus. Nothing to do in the evening, so it's not for the night life, but I did saw one night club with young people going out late, and the is Zell am See 8 minutes by car! There is also SPAR market in the center.

    You can see a lot of facilities with the summer card. A lot to do for families ( hiking, cycling, rafting, bathing, swimming, sightseeing,visiting museums ). The food and drinks in restaurants are expensive, so it’s better to have food included in the hotel price or buy it in the store.

    Excellent Relaxing Place and quite city with great natural views and interesting entertainment Kaprun city is ver admirable Tourest city , However the supermarkets and other shopping are are closing very early and meeting the Tourists desires This to be really addressed by Austrian Government to utilise their facilities efficiently and bring more tourists to there country like others worldwide Tourists attract cites and increase city economy as well

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of...

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

    A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

    It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and...

    It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, if you are into mountain biking, and the Grosser Donnerkogel, if you are into via ferratas. Being in Zell am See gave us the possibility to do multiple things withing a 1h driving radius.
