It's a small and quite medieval-style town in the always beautiful Styria. It's well worth a visit. We stayed 2 nights just hiking in the surrounding area, but I understand it also has cultural offerings. We received a wonderful warm welcome and our hosts (John and Marjolein) were just lovely. We really enjoyed our stay there and would always return. Parking was a breeze. The breakfasts were excellent and a great variety to choose from. We have climbed up the hill and visited Burgruine Steinschloß, which is a castle in Styria, Austria. It is the highest castle ruin in Styria at 1180 meters above sea level. The views are fantastic, we stayed until the sunset and it was ohmygodable. The nature around is so beautiful and you can easily find a bench along the road oriented toward mountains, river or church so you can sit, observe and enjoy. 30 min from Teufenbach one can visit Formula 1 race in Spielberg, there is a museum, giftshop, terrace you can rent a race car there and try it.Guest review byDinuMoldova - 8.0

Nice location surrounded by mountains, shiny place. Acceptable driving distance to ski slopes (below 30 mins) - Lachtal, Kreischberg. Friendly staff, very good local meals, rich breakfast. St. Lambrecht is a very cultured village with an impressive baroque monastery. Beautiful surroundings ideal for walking and cycling. On the edge of the village there is a ski resort with a very pleasant family atmosphere.
