Everything, place is flawless, the decor, the wellness and spa areas, the lake house & swimming/sun deck. The food in the restaurant & breakfast selection top class. Parking very easy, check-in also very easy. Advice: unless you have early checkin, it will be 3pm, so go straight to wellness as you really only have a 3-4 hr window before dinner, especially if you only staying for 1 night. It is not open till 11pm next morning on checkout.

It was a last minute booking on our road trip, very late, so the self-check in was awesome! We had no idea what we were booking, but we stepped into a really nice, clean, comfortable beds and modern room with a big TV! The staff we met the day after in the bakery, they were amazing and gave us pointers where to go and what to see on our road trip. We loved this stayover and would recommend this to everyone driving past or staying around this area! ❤️

    The few days we spent at Grandhotel Giessbach were truly like a dream. The hotel’s stunning natural scenery, historical architecture, and peaceful atmosphere captivated us from the very first moment. Everything was thoughtfully planned and flawless. However, one of the most important details that made our stay so special was meeting Kris Jungo, who works at the Front Office. Kris was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home. He patiently answered all our questions and enhanced our vacation with his recommendations, making it much more enjoyable.     The Ebner's Waldhof am See Resort & Spal has very spacious family rooms. The spa area, especially the heated pool, is magnificent. You can come to lunch in a terry robe straight from the spa area. I really liked the food - a large variety of tasty and healthy food - you can even make your own smoothie from apples, carrots, sellerei and ginger. For dinner, you can choose from several menus, including vegetarian cuisine. Dinner dishes are served and decorated at the level of Michelin 5 stars. Every day the hotel has a new plan of events. The hotel is run by a family, their care and attention are present in every corner of the hotel. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm, welcoming and friendly.

    I travel a lot and lots of experience with 5-star hotels. This one is definitely in my top 3. Very large and modern with some vintage touches. Suites are huge and well equipped with tablet to operate everything. Nice sugar bar, wine bar, multiple kitchens, really nice spa. Staff is really good and sincerely polite and helpful.

    Check-in was very easy and time-saving.

    Check-in was very easy and time-saving. There was no need to wait in line, simply used the machine, entered my surname and booking number, and everything was done. Honestly, I enjoyed that there was no receptionist; it felt like home just enter the code and walk into the room. One thing I didn’t like was that the sink was not inside the bathroom but in the room itself, right next to the bed. While I appreciate IBIS for being small but well-equipped, this setup did not look good. The hotel is not very close to the airport if you plan to stay here for a late-night flight, keep in mind that it’s about a 20-minute walk to the terminal.

    I loved the beauty of Innsbruck and the friendly, kind locals. There was a wine festival and the atmosphere was wonderful with local musicians dressed in Tyrolean outfits and playing delightful music. The shops were great with many beautiful, well-made things to buy. It was delightful to walk into the old town by the river and the water was a gorgeous teal colour. Also drinking water is very pure and does not have fluoride which was a bonus. I was so taken with Innsbruck that I can’t wait to return.

    Bled is a hidden gem in Slovenia. The lake and surrounding area are stunning. I would suggest exploring a little further afield especially if you are one who enjoys the outdoors, opportunities are abundant. The choices for dining are many, everything from grocery store “ready meals” to fine dining (do try the local dishes). Bled is easily walkable for all ages, also cyclists are welcome. Be mindful that Vintgar is popular and can be quite busy.

    The city is incredibly charming, with a vibe that feels much more Austrian than Italian. It’s also surrounded by plenty of beautiful hikes (which I wish I’d had time to do!). I only stayed for two days, and while one day is enough to see the city itself, the real highlight is exploring the trails and nature nearby. The food is distinctly Austrian, hearty and delicious, and the bakeries are absolutely fantastic.

    One of the most beautiful places in the region. Tourists' friendly atmosphere. Fantastic Free Ticino Transportation Ticket. Ability to visit other towns i.e. Locarno, Bellinzona in convenient way. Spectacular views from mountains around Lugano i.e. Monte San Salvatore.     Grindelwald is like a Swiss Fairytale. All the wonderful Swiss Chalets, the incomparable alps, the charming Swiss people. Grindelwald is definitely a tourist town with shops selling all the Swiss trinkets, but that's part of the charm. No other place can you travel up to the famous Jungfrau and take in all that mountain offers. It's truly an adventure.
