Tirana is an exciting, rapidly improving city, with a lot of things to see, vivid culture, old, socialist, and modern architecture, but also many green spots, trees, parks. The best way to get around is walking, public transport is by bus, and you can get stuck in traffic. There are also city bikes, that could be useful. I feel like going back and exploring more places, other districts of the city, the Lake Park, the mountains around, the Dajti mountain for example. I stayed for 2 days and booked a half day bus tour to Bovilla Lake in advance. This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning.
