The hotel was perfect, the rooms were spacious. The location was very good. They served a breakfast like in five-star hotels. I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect – from the warm and friendly staff to the clean. The service exceeded my expectations, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. I felt welcomed and relaxed throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again! Also, the hotel is a two-minute walk from the beach.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sunlight Hotel! It deserves a solid 10/10 rating for its exceptional hospitality. The hotel is brand new, which is evident from its modern decor and facilities. The rooms and pool were impeccably clean, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The good and variable breakfast options were not only delicious but also offered a nice variety. What's more, the hotel's location is a real highlight—it's very close to the sea, which added to the overall charm of my stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend the Sunlight Hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay.

All room facilities are high specification, brand new and work perfectly. Good size balcony with sea view. Big balcony with a dryer and swing in the shape of an egg. It's nice to sit there after swimming in the evening 8. Air condition system for the whole room - it is good because the regular condition usually blows on someone 9. Swimming pool. Big, clean, warm, quiet, WIFI covered, has a small section for kids, sunbeds with umbrellas, the bar is near. To be honest, we liked the pool much more than Ksamil's cold, paid, noisy and polluted beaches. 10. Location. The hotel is located on the main street but at the same time far from the noisy restaurants and clubs. 5 minutes to the beach

    This property is amazing. We couldn’t believe how good our location was. You are literally just off the beach, location is one of a kind. We were also really impressed by the terrace sizes and general aesthetic. I can’t believe this property is as affordable as it is they could charge double and I would be happy. The hosts are really friendly and sweet, very welcoming and even gave us some fresh bread. They were also very easy to reach by message when we had a query. We only stayed for 2 nights in Ksamil however I regret not staying here a week. If you are visiting Ksamil stay here.

    We liked the location, very close to the beach. Water was amazing. We were also surprised by the cleanliness, everything was very very clean. Rita and the staff really take care of the rooms, floor, cleaned outside as well. The kitchen is open, which is very big advantage. We liked the breakfast, very fresh and tasty. And we liked to order lunch and dinner at the restaurant, the food were brought very quickly. Seafood pizza and seafood were amazing. All the staff is very nice, especially Laskie, the cutest waiter ever!

    Great location! Friendly staff. Rooms clearly have recently been renovated and they are fabulous! Comfortable bed, and fridge in room is handy. Beach just across the road and being off season didn’t have to pay for chairs. Nice toiletries included as well as slippers. Spacious bathroom with good water pressure. Definitely recommend!

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

    Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.
