We had the perfect holiday. The hotel has everything you need: close to the sea, great breakfast, quiet area, restaurant and markets near by, all the facilities in the room, cleaning service every day, and the most important the staff, Luciano and his family took good care of all our vacation. Everything! Location was right in the thick of it but just slightly offset enough for it to be quiet at night. Mini market opposite entrance and restaurants/bars galore within 5 minutes walking. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful but a special mention to Moniq. She ran the place so well and couldn't do enough. Hotel is brand new, spotless and rooms were very spacious. Breakfast was varied and delicious. It was served on 4th floor with fabulous views. Recommend

Although our visit was just for one night, this newly opened hotel in Ksamil left a lasting impression. The rooms are incredibly cozy, with tasteful decor and well chosen furniture that gives a warm, inviting feel. Despite the short stay, the staff made a big impact - attentive, kind and ready to assist at every step to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience. The breakfast was another standout- flavourful, generous and clearly prepared with care. A truly delightful place that we would happily return to for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Diol Hotel in Ksamil. The hotel was nice and clean, with a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, fresh and tasty every morning. We also loved the clean, well maintained pool just outside the hotel a perfect spot to relax after exploring Ksamil. The location is ideal if you’re looking for some peace and quiet away from the busy center of Ksamil, while still being close enough to reach everything easily. Overall, Diol Hotel is a great option for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ksamil. Highly recommended!

Incredible nice service, the breakfast was delicious and you can get drinks there at night as well. It’s around 8 minutes away from the beach so you can easily walk there. Had a lot of nice conversations, super friendly and really informative. Also if you have any questions or if you need something, you will get all the support you need! Thanks a lot for this great stay - I highly enjoyed it and would recommend it!

    I traveled a lot, and I must Say that this was one of the best accomodation i have ever been to. A true dream. First, the owners are always smiling and welcoming. The flat is pretty big, very clean and nothing is missing. The bed is Just next to a Window through which you see the Sea like 10 meters away. You can hear the sound of the waves while getting asleep! And yes, the location: its like being on a boat, cause the sea is literally there, you can almost touch it. And when you are on the balcony you see it as if it was a painting, framed by the shady foliage of the trees. A couple of stairs and you can dive! So really, do yourself a favor: come and stay here.

    The absolute highlight of our stay was the staff, Alba and Mirel, the most friendly, helpful people I've ever met during many stays in many places. Alba was helpful with all our needs, current or general, always with a huge smile on her face. When we checked out and asked for directions to the nearest bus station she had Mirel drive us there!!! It was a short ride, but long enough to hear the Albanian anthem sung out loud by Mirel upon our request. I cannot emphasize enough the great experience we had at Mira Mare mostly thanks to Alba and Mirel.

    I loved the location, it is not in the center of the city so it is quiet and you can relax. Center of Ksamil is 10 min walk by the sea. The staff is so pleasant and they really make sure that everything is clean. They clean the room every day and change the towels. Food in hotel is phenomenal. The sea is clean and the staff makes sure the beach is clean of trash and sea grass. The parking is next to hotel so basically you can see your car from the balcony. Will be coming back here 🌊☀️

    We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was fantastic and we loved the inclusion of sun loungers included in the cost of our stay - we used these every day. Staff also provided us with beach towels to use. I'd also highly recommend the restaurant at this hotel - we ate and drank here a couple of times and enjoyed the food and gorgeous views. Our room was amazing and spacious, and the staff were great. 10/10 - we'd come back here any time!

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

    Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.
